"He couldn't have killed you, you were like three feet away!" —James

"The only feeling I have for James Potter is hate." —Jackie

PLOT

Jackie Wilson loved the summer with all her being. What she hated, was her neighbor James Potter was home.

Jackie had never officially met James, only knowing his parents until the summer she turned 17. James comes home from school, as he always does, but this time with friends. . . and they crash right into Jackie's life. Literally.

Sirius Black, professional rebel, decided muggle laws were not for him and drove himself and his friends home. Drunk. Except when he thought he was pulling into the Potters' driveway, he was really pulling into Jackie Wilson's car.

To say she's upset is an understatement.

NOTES!

—Jackie's a muggle and has no idea about the wizarding world.

—She kind of hates James, especially after he defends Sirius for wrecking into her car. But James is used to girls hating him, so he doesn't take that much offense.

—The next day, Euphemia and Fleamont make the boys go apologize to Jackie. And, because she's a hot-head, she doesn't accept it. and Fleamont likes to mess with James and Sirius, so he tells them they have to get her to accept the apology.

—Their entire summer is increasingly bigger apologies from the boys (but mostly James) so much so that in Jackie's eyes it's a game of who'll cave first

—At some point, James falls for her, but she's still in denial that she can even stand him.

—This all takes place the summer before James' seventh year, but you can continue on for as long as you'd like

—The rest is up to you!
