Rue came into our room that evening, wearing... Prim's dress. The one that she wore to the reaping of the 74th hunger games.

"Where did you find that???" Katniss cries out. Rue says, "In the basement. That's where Willow found the duck too!" Katniss is speechless. I break the silence by saying,

"That is a very important item. Please put it back immediately. Rue leaves. The next morning, we call the children into the kitchen, for a talk.

"I heard that you two went into the basement," I start saying.

"You are not to go in there ever again, without one of us. Do you hear me?" They both squeak,

"Yes" and leave. We eat berries for lunch, but I'm not very hungry. Afterwards, we set off to go to the lake. When we get to the lake, I see a little spots of gold flying around everywhere. Then I know that there's a bunch of them somewhere, waiting for their victims. I know, as soon as I see those flecks of gold, that this is a lake full of...
