these words initiated the twenty minutes that you put into coming up with things to do—things nayeon would have never thought of doing, all to face her fears. she wasn't even aloud to contribute to the list or look at it. it was all you.

you kiss your phone screen which had the list, holding it up in the air and grinning. "all done."

nayeon, who was biting her nails, scoots forward, scratching her arm with her other hand. "what's on it, read it. hurry."

you clear your throat, proud of what you could come up with. nayeon knew as soon as you read the first thing on the list, she regretted ever meeting you.
