  I was walking to the store to grab the needed things Lieutenant needed.

I looked up at the sky, admiring the beauty of Detroit, Michigan.

I got to the small shop with success of having no people try to say something rude to me making me hum with content.

As I walked in, I saw the cashier and smiled lightly, getting a smile back.

He had bleach blonde hair and green eyes and a really nice jawline.

I causally walked to the back of the store where the produce was, grabbing the items on the list such as milk and eggs.

I roamed around the rest of the store looking through the isles making sure he didn't need anything else.

Before I went to the checkout area I found some treats for Sumo.

I got to the checkout area, noticing that the worker was an android as well.

"Hello, did you find everything okay?" He asked politely. The name tag on his shirt read 'Ralph'.

"Yes, thank you." I spoke quietly and started putting the items I had in my basket onto the counter.

He started to ring them up, putting them into bags quickly.

"Ok sir, that'll be fifty seven dollars and twenty four cents." Ralph told me and I nodded.

I looked up at him and blinked a few times making our LED lights blink, signaling the purchase went through.

"Thank you sir, have a nice day. Here's your bags" Ralph said and pushed the bags closer to me.

"Thank you." I said and grabbed the bags, walking out of the store.

I started to walk back to the lieutenants house before I heard a noise in a alleyway. I stopped in my tracks, turning my head to see what made the noise I heard.

I heard the same noise, but it sounded like it was in pain or discomfort.

I got in the alley and put my bags down to investigate.

I walked closer to the said noise, only to see a heavily shaking black cat with a small gash on its head.

I put my hand out slowly, letting the animal smell me to know I wasn't going to hurt it.

The cat slowly leant in to smell and nuzzle my hand. I slowly petted it, letting it get comfortable to me.

I took my jacket off, wrapping the little dude in it to try to make it warm.

I grabbed the groceries and the wrapped up cat, and tried to quickly get back to the house.
