I slowly powered on, opening my eyes and looking around. Hank was asleep next to me on the couch, along with Sumo. The television was flashing colors of a sitcom show. The sun was shining through the windows making Hank look really pretty as he slept. The warm colors fluoresce against his sleeping features, making my system go haywire.
I sat up quietly, not wanting to wake up the Lieutenant or the dog. I noticed that my system was needing an update or two. I walked to the corner of the living room.
I leant into the corner, looking at the whole entire room before going into standby mode peacefully.

I moved from my spot from the corner to the floor, slowly sitting down on the soft carpet. I ran my hand through the fluffy flooring, liking the soft feeling it had. I stayed there until Hank came out of the bathroom.
"Look who's up" I heard Hank say and I looked up at him. "Mhm. I had to do a few updates." I told him and he nodded, going to the kitchen to find food.
"God..I need to go to the grocery store." I heard him mumble, making me perk up a bit. "I can go for you..if you would like me too." I told him trying to be nice.
Hank looked at me with a weird look making me slightly panic. "Uh..sure I guess. I'll make you a list okay? Give me about ten minutes." The Lieutenant responded and I nodded, staying on the floor.
Sumo came from behind me, feeling him sniff and nudge me. I jumped a bit and looked at him, scratching behind his ears. Hank walked in the living room a few minutes later, handing me the list.
I skimmed through it and nodded to myself, getting up and putting the piece of paper in my back pocket. I found my shoes and jacket, putting them on before telling Hank bye and leaving to go to the store.
