Chapter Seventeen

Three months later.......

June 3rd, Friday

#Xavia POV

I sighed rubbing at my healing scar on the side of my stomach. It was just simple reminders of that gruesome night. Becca rubbed my shoulders causing me to let out a low moan and lean back. You could feel that my body was tense from everything that was going on.

"He'll wake up soon Xavia. You can't be stressing like this." She said kissing my forehead.

I started crying holding his little hand rubbing it on my cheek. "This is my baby. Xena hasn't been acting the same because she knows her brother is hurting so she's hurting. It hurts so much to have my baby hurt and I couldn't protect him."

Becca sighed sitting down beside me. "If there is anyone to blame it should be me. I was there and I couldn't protect them."

I turned around kissing her softly. "You did the best you could and that's why I love you."

She smiled kissing my forehead. "I love you too."

I laid on her chest trying to calm myself down. I kept picturing Xavion's bright face just smiling and running around with his sister. They're both my heart and are the reason why I'm trying to be better for myself. If I better myself then I make life better for them and that's what I want.

Someone knocked on the door and in walked Kaden with Xena who has a big teddy bear in her hand. Kaden leaned over and kissed Xavion on his forehead. Xena laid her teddy bear on the ground climbing into the bed and laid down with her brother rubbing his arm. It made my heart sore to see that. I wiped the tear that I felt roll down and sighed. I couldn't keep myself calm even if I tried too. Not until my baby is woke again.

Kaden looked at both Xena and Xavion. I knew this was bugging him just as much as it was bugging me. He just got the chance to bond with his children and then this happens. "Is he doing any better?" Kaden asked frowning.

"He's breathing on his own so any day now he'll be up." Becca says rubbing through her long dreads.

I watched as they began to converse between each other. I was glad that Becca and Kaden could be cool even though we had issues previously. It just took off the stress that wasn't needed.

An hour later, Kaden left for work.bim glad he's trying to actually do something legal so he dies have to risk that with the twins. I held Xena in my arms brushing back her hair to look at her face. Her normal glow is fading. She knows her brother is hurting and it's hurting her since he's her twin. She barely even speaks anymore unless someone steaks to her first. My bright baby is closing up before my eyes before me and I couldn't protect here either.

I yawned leaning back in the chair closing my eyes to sleep.

"Mommy, wake up. I'm hungry." A little angelic voice said shaking me.

I opened my eyes and seen a little girl with curly wild light brown hair looking at me. She had bright blue eyes like Xena and Xavion but hers were paler almost grey. She looked similar to the twins but I never seen her a day in my life. She looked like she could be at least four or five years old. I frowned down at the little girl.

"I'm not your mommy sweetheart." I told her smiling before sitting up .

She looked at me confused. "Uh yes you are. Um mommy are you okay? Did you eat too much pills?"

Before I could respond to her, a girl came in with two pigtails to try and tame her hair. Her curly hair was still everywhere tho.

She looked at me and sighed of relief. "Oh good your up. Can you please tell Xavion that I'm trying to sleep? I have a singing recital in a little."

My eyes widened. "Xena?!"

She made a face before laughing at me. "Uh who else mom?"

I rubbed my forehead confused. Xena looks at least eight now.

I felt a light tapping behind me and I turned around to see a boy my height smiling his braces at me. The blue eyes made me know. I smiled.

"Xavion."

He laughed. "Wake up."

I felt my body being shook and felt tears running down my face. I tried pushing away until my eyes bursted open.

My heart felt like it was about to explode out of my chest. I looked down to see Xena watching carefully.

"Are you okay mommy?" Xena asked when I looked at her.

I nodded looking over to her brother who's eyes were still closed. He still wasn't responding.

The nurse walked in and tapped my shoulder. I quickly looked up to her expecting some good news.

"Visiting hours are over." She said.

I sighed nodding looking to Becca. She looked anxious as well.

"You go ahead home. You need a break. Spend some time with Xena. I'll be here in case anything happens." She said giving me a reassuring smile. She was right though. I haven't been able to really spend some time with Xena because I been in the hospital every day waiting for him to wake up.

I felt a rush of guilt hit me. I began walking to the door after giving Becca and Xavion a hug and kiss. Xena did the same after me.

"Mommy." I heard a little voice croak out.

I stopped in my tracks holding in tears before turning back around.

"Xavion."
