"Well breakfast was okay," Ruby says to Weiss as they leave the mess hall.

"Well let's see where they may have gone wrong; first the eggs were more liquid than egg, the bacon tasted like cardboard, and then finally the orange juice was just water with orange food coloring!" She exclaims as Ruby snickers.

"What?" Weiss asks looking at Ruby.

"Well it's just kinda funny to see you get worked up over something so small," she says smiling.

"Well is it so wrong for me to complain over some bad food? Food that would automatically fail this establishment if a health inspector was to come by,"

"Well it is a lot better then what I'm used to,"

"Really I would expect a pure girl like you to have every meal on a silver platter from the finest of cooks,"

"Nah, maybe you do Weiss but me, I get by with what I can, I can't really cook that well and my step-mother doesn't give a damn about me," she says tearing up.

"Ruby I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you, I guess I just forgot what you had mentioned earlier I'm sorry,"

"Dammit Weiss way to go and make her cry you insensitive prick, I do suppose I may have forgotten that seeing that she did tell me like two hours ago but still still damn," Weiss thinks to herself.

"No your all good I didn't expect you to remember besides I'm known for being overly sensitive at times that's on me," Ruby says wiping a tear off of her face.

"Oh okay, but next time I'll do better to remember,"

"Weiss your fine, what's on the agenda until lunch?"

"Uhh let me check," Weiss says pulling a sheet of paper out of her pocket. "Looks like there's mass gathering for the church camps and family camps, and for us its just kinda hangout until lunch," Weiss says putting the sheet of paper back into her pocket.

"Oh okay so what do you want to do?" Ruby asks looking at Weiss.

"Well seeing as that I made you sad earlier-"

"Jesus Weiss let it go!" Ruby exclaims at the other girl.

"All right I will, I just feel bad for being kind of inconsiderate then,"

"No Weiss its on me, I don't think I've had anyone give a damn about my actual emotions aside from sister in a long time. So thank you I guess," Ruby says hugging the other girl.

"Umm your welcome, anyway what do you want to do?" Weiss says blushing.

"Do you like games?" Ruby asks stepping back out of the hug.

                   "Like what?"

"Well I brought a deck of cards and a chess set so either one of those I guess,"

                  "Sure that sounds good,''

"Okay so how about chess, I haven't played it in a bit since my sister left earlier than me for camp,"

               "Sure that sounds marvelous,"

"Sweet! In case you haven't guessed it's back at the cabin,"

"Well what are we waiting for?"

"Exactly what are we waiting for?" Ruby says skipping off. Weiss smiles as the girl skips off towards the cabin.

"Even if things don't work out romantically I damn sure hope we can stay friends, even after this summer ends," Weiss thinks to herself as Ruby turns around.

"Are you coming or what Ice Queen?"

"Yes I am dunce!" Weiss calls out as she starts the walk back to her cabin.
