Kelly's POV

After a verrrryy long day at the mall with Chelsea, who bought around twelve shopping bags consisting of jeans, crop tops, T-shirts, leggings, sandals, shoes, makeup products, shorts, dresses, and a lot more. I think only five or six of those bags contain things for me, as much as I was persistent on telling her to not go overboard, she said that she could not do any less than twelve bags.

I know, the child's obsessed with shopping, she doesn't even wear half the stuff she buys!!

When we got home, it was around six thirty, and Chelsea suggested that we invite Zach and Jaquani for a movie night, to ease all the unnecessary tension in our little circle. I was going to disagree but then I though that maybe, i could try to make both boys get along. I am also so tired of all the unnecessary feud going on between them.
So, Chelsea agreed to call Zach and talk to him, because, 1. He won't say no to her due to being a little scared of her crazy tantrums and 2. She thought I was the better one to talk to Jaquani, seeing how we're "close".

Pfft, we're not, I haven't even seen the guy from Monday.
What if don't even get a hold of him??

I took my phone up from the table and decide to call and see if he'll pick up anyways. I dialed his number and it rang twice, just when I was about to hung up I heard his soothing voice.
"Kelly?, what's up?" he asked
"Uh, hey Jaquani, I wanted to ask you something"
"Okayy, what's that?"
"We're having a movie night, and we were wondering if you wanted to come over and join us?"
"Who's the we?"
"Uh, me, Chelsea and..."
"And Zach. Uhmm, okay sure, I'll come, text me your address"

Hold up, did he say yes!?

"So you'll come?" I inquired just to be sure.
He chuckled then said "Yes Kelly, I'll come, just as long as you send me your address so I know where exactly I should come", I could just see his smirk plastered on his face has he said that.
"Okay great, I'll text you it right now, bye"
"Yea, see you in a few", then I hung up.
"Well?!" Chelsea questioned
"He said...he'll come" I started off as if I was gonna disappoint her then told her what she was hoping for with a small smile on my face.
"Yaaaaayy!" she clapped her hands, while jumping up and down.

See what I'm talking about, sick.

"Okay, so what did Zach say?"
"Did you not hear when I said he can't say no?, he'll be here in five minutes"
"Danggg Chels"
"Yaaaass girl, I know" she replied with a cheeky grin, proud of her persistent and persuading skills.

This girl.

~~~~~~~~~~
It's now eight and we're here playing Call of Duty. Since it's four of us, Zach and Chelsea are playing against Jay and I. Thus far, we're winning but who knows, they might take the lead suddenly.
Or not.
Just as suspected, we won the game. Zach was a bit pissed because he's a sore loser, so I made a monkey face at him. He shot me a glare but then it changed into a small, warm smile.
We decided that after the game, the winner will choose the movie. Jaquani and I are now arguing between The End Game and Game Of Thrones.
"It's a great movie!"
"Only for you boys, if we watch End Game, we all can enjoy it!!"
"No Kelly, only you'll be enjoying it, you've been dying to watch that movie!!
"That's true, but...wait, how do you know I've been longing to watch it?"
"Uh...uhm, I saw it in your journal, here" he said while handing it over to me. I quickly grabbed it from his hands.
"Where did you get this from!? Did you read everything in it!?" I questioned, faking anger and worry.
"Oh stop being such a Drama Queen, its only your 'things-to-do' journal, it fell out of your locker Monday when you grabbed your books, slammed it and ran off to your history class because you were late. You'd never put your diary with all your wildest dreams of me and all your dirty little secrets in your locker" he said, with his smirk back in place.
Excusing the "dreams of him" part, the guy's right. I'd never keep my diary in my freaking locker.
That's crazy.
Zach cleared his throat and we both turned to him, "If you guys are done with whatever you were talking about, what movie are we watching?"
"Uhmm..." I was interrupted by Chelsea.
"Uh, help please!!"she yelled, while struggling to carry all the food she ordered.
I rushed over to her and took some of the food from her, and placed it on the table in front of the sofa. She put down the remaining food she had in her hand, and said  "Enough of you guys bickering about which movie to watch. Since Kelly and Jay wasn't grown enough to come to an agreement on a movie, I'll be choosing the movie. No objections" she said eyeing us all.
"And why can't Zach choose the movie?" Jay inquired, raising an eyebrow at Zach.
"Because I don't want to. Besides, she's right, you were too much of a little boy so you couldn't even choose a good movie" Zach replied with a smirk.
"I'm a little boy, wow says the-" jay was cut of by Kelly.
"Okay, enough you two. We'll be watching A Walk To Remember, now sit y'all asses down and be nice!" she said, while walking towards the TV to set up the movie.
We all groaned but complied nonetheless.
About 10 minutes into the movie, things really got awkward. Chelsea was gulping down all the popcorn and sodas, Zach was looking at the movie rather angrily and Jaquani was asleep, leaning on my shoulder.
I was contemplating shifting but then his head would fall off and he'd jerk awake, he looked way to peaceful for me to wake him like that. Plus, him being asleep reduced the tension and arguments in the room, with him and Zach bickering back and forth.
"I'm gonna fetch more food!",Chelsea said, still having some amount of enthusiasm for the movie.
We both mumbled an okay.
"You guys seem quite comfortable" Zach said looking between Jay and I then back at the TV.
"It's not what it looks like to you, Zach"
"Maybe its not, but what I know for sure, he certainly does like you"
"No he doesn't, we're just friends"
"Open your eyes Kelz, stop being so oblivious, to what people feel towards you" he said, glaring slightly at me, then returned his attention to the TV.
As if on cue, Jay shifted his weight and dropped his hand over my body and mumbled something, looking rather cute.
Zach saw, sighed and remained silent.
Well, that was awkward.
Love,
Keddy
