Kelly's POV

The day I've been dreading has come. The day all high schoolers hate. This lovely day is called Monday.

Hopefully you've note the sarcasm.

Why can't the weekend be longer, I mean its basically two days, what fun and rest can we get in just two days!?? This is exactly why we're always so tired and frustrated on a Monday.

Today's the day our H.E assignment commence, and boy I wish Mrs. Underwood would have a changed of heart and drop this stupid assignment, but I highly doubt that.

Chelsea has the flu so she's skipping school today. Boy, I wish I had her luck. Speaking of my bad luck, my bike needs some repair. For some odd reason, it just won't start, so now, I'm on my over to Zach's house, so he can give me a ride.

He offered and I honestly wanted to deny it seeing that there's a bit of a strain on our friendship since Jaquani entered our lives, but since my only other option would be walking, I accepted his offer.

Mom gave me a bit extra today because I cleaned the basement out along with the entire house, without she asking me to.

Why you must be wondering, well, I was bored, wanted to be alone but still wanted something productive to do, so I got my headphone, played my favorite playlist while making my once dirty home, spotless.

Best daughter award goes too...... Kellyann Malcolm!!!!!!

Thank you, thank you, i know, the awesomeness is just unbelievable!😉

Anyway, back to the present. So here I am, standing at Zach's front door, about to ring his door bell.
As I lean forward to press the bell, the door opened and revealed Zach.
He smiled at me then shouts "Bye mom, bye Dad, see you guys later!", and after about ten seconds, both of Zach's parents respond simultaneously,  "Bye son, have a good day!".
We walked down the stairs and made our way over to Zach's jeep.

Yes, he owns a freaking jeep! A nice yellow one at that!

We entered the jeep, I, in shotgun, and of course, Zach in the driver's seat.
"How are you, kelz?" Zach inquires, holding a warm smile.
"I'm fine Zachie boy" I replied, with a crazy grin on my face.
"Two things; I thought I told you to stop calling me that and, why, you're in an awfully good mood" he responds, with a glare then a small smile.
"I'll call you whatever I want, whenever I want and yes, life's good man" I answered, trying to imitate a dude's voice, which ended in us going into a fit of laughter.
"Let's get your crazy ass to school", he said then drove off.

Maybe we can actually go back to normal without getting rid of Jaquani.
Who knows, maybe, eventually, they'll make peace.
