Just when I thought my life couldn't get anymore weirder, my friends and I fought a hydra. That wasn't the weird part, though. So my bros Jason and Grover and I were just casually strolling down a sidewalk in New York, you know, demigod searching and stuff, when we accidentally bumped into a blonde girl listening to music. "Sorry," mumbled the girl, turning red.

"No prob," I said, "oh, by the way my name is Percy Jackson.

"And I'm Jason Grace," Jason added, "and that's our friend, Grover Underwood." He pointed at Grover, who, luckily, had his hat, pants, and shoes on.

"Hi, I'm Sophie, um got to go."

"What kind of name is Sophieumgottogo?" asked Jason. But she was already out of sight. Disappeared. Suddenly, I realized that Grover hadn't talked for the whole time. He looked shocked.

"What's up G man ?" I asked. Trembling slightly, he whispered, "Perce, that-she...she's a demigod!

"Still what kind of name is Sophieumgottogo"said Jason. Me and Grover burst out laughing. "What's so funny?"said Jason "Oh, Sparky you sound exactly like Rachael when I met her." "Help me, she is so creepy," said Jason "I don't want burst out prophecy.

"Hey she is a good friend,"defended Grover.

"Whatever you say,"muttered Jason.

"Um, let's get something to eat" said Grover.

"Why not look for the demigod?" I said.

" Now that I think about it, I don't think she's is a demigod, she smells weird for a demigod".

"How?" I questioned.

" She smells like a nymph but also like a legacy, anyways it is probably because my nose is not well."

"But when I get to camp I'm going back", I said.

"Fine, but go with my sis and neeks", said Jason.

Sophie

"Sophie, WAKE UP!!!!!"

I groaned and opened my poor sleep deprived eyes, stretched, but then immediately pulled up my blanket. In front of me were two boys, one with dark hair, beautiful teal eyes, and he flashed me his movie star smile. The other one had messy blond hair, ice blue eyes, and was wearing his trademark smirk.

"Surprised, Foster?" Keefe asked me with another smirk.

"WhathappeneddidGradyandEdalineallowthisWHYAREYOUINMY ROOM?????!!"

"Chill, Foster,"Keefe said, "we know that you met these people while you were in the Forbidden City, sooo I WANT TO HEAR ALL ABOUT THEM.

I rolled my eyes, "I don't know why you two are obsessed with humans, but sure. Oh, and can I change firs-

"-okay, meet you there!" Keefe cut her off, dragging poor Fitz with him downstairs. I sighed. This was going to be a long day."

"I think he might be following us,"I whispered telepathically, "but act normal.

"Ok guys," Keefe said out loud, "Do you want to go to...uh....Starbucks?

I casually turned my head to talk to Keefe, but out of the corner of my eye I saw something. I gasped when I saw what it was. We were being followed. By three teens and a huge black mastiff the size of a SUV.

Percy

"Hey you, Sophieumgottogo," I said. Thalia rolled her eyes, "He means Sophie." The blond boy next to Sophie immediately cracked up. "Foster, I'm calling you that from now on,"he said between gasps. A girl with silver tips in her hair sent a wave of water at the blond boy and me. "A daughter of Poseidon?" Of course I stayed dry. " You want water, we'll take this." I launched one million gallons of water at the group of people, maybe even a thousand.

"Really Percy?" said Nico "Yeah oops um sorr-'" I said right before a throwing star came straight at Thalia. Thalia being a Hunter pulled an Athena and caught it. Sophie look at her as if she was a Zeus not being a drama king. "Uh... did you just catch a throwing star?

"Yes." And in one swift motion, she shot 6 arrows at their feet. They looked in surprise at their shoes, which were pinned to the ground. Thaila opened her mouth to say something sassy, but out of nowhere a girl materialized behind her and tackled her. Than the arrows floated out of the ground. Nico, of course being Death Breath summoned 6 skeletons out of the ground. But in the middle of all the chaos, we hear a roar and turned around. A hydra reared up behind us and it looked like Blackjack when I forgot to give him donuts.

Sophie

"What is that thing?" shouted Fitz.

"I think it's a hydra," I had studied Greek mythology when I was in 7th grade. The spiky haired girl nodded in approval, " You would be a valuable Hunter." The short boy who had summoned the skeletons ,wait skeletons what kind of ability it that, that's impossible said, yelled," Less talking, more killing!"

"Right." I turned toward Percy he had a hurricane surrounding the hydra. "Can I enhance you?"

"WHAT?!"

"Basically if I hold your hand, I can make your ability stronger."

"Okay?" I tapped my metallic nails together 5 times and grabbed his hand. Immediately I knew it was a bad idea. The hurricanes swelled until it engulfed Central Park, and and the ground started shaking furiously and a huge 30 foot geyser and it hit a building and the front part of the roof crumbled toward us.

"Watch out!" I shouted to Percy. But he wasn't listening. His eyes were glowing with power and his grip on my hand was crushing. He was going to destroy New York!

Thaila

I looked over at Percy. His eyes were glowing blue and every time he held out his hand, more geysers shot up from the ground. Sophie look at me and mouthed, "You have to stop him!" I nodded. Running up to Percy, I shouted, "Remember Annabeth. She needs you, kelp head!" Percy suddenly broke away from his daze, just as a the crumbling roof fell toward us. Sophie clicked her nails another five times what was she doing? and grabbed our wrists and shot into the air.

"Who are you?", Nico demanded. They ignored him. Sophie shouted, "Grady, we have visitors!"

The girl's boyfriend asked, "Are you an elf?"

Is this boy crazy? "Of course not, are you ok?"

"Then why are you speaking the enlightened language, liar?"

"You call me a liar?" I asked

"Yes, you evil liar."

Sophie looked impressed.

"Fitz, they're not lying," Sophie said, sounding annoyed, "nor are they elves."

"We're not,"added Percy, " because, they're not real." Five of them looked slightly offended but Sophie just laughed and said, "Yes, they are. We are elves."

Sophie parents came over and held out a device and pointed it at us.

The world was getting smaller and smaller.

"What are you doing" I shouted

Then darkness came
