Chapter 17

Ashley was getting close so they had no problem deciding on what they wanted to do for a birth of their son. " I am not attempting to go to the hospital this time I am going to have a home birth instead." Ashley said loudly. " I don't blame you honey after what we went thru with Abby." Angel said. So they looked into midwifes and all. Found one that they liked. Angela was her name. They talked about when to call and all then waited till Ashley was in labor. They haven't picked a name yet but, where thinking of some.

It was passed her due date she was getting aggatated that this stubborn little boy was coming out. Angel was patience and made sure she is calm. They were heading to bed when Ashley felt something. Ashley bent over in pain. " Are you okay dear." Angel asked putting his hands on her shoulder. " Um I am not sure but, I think it is time but, I have to wait to make sure" Ashley said Angel rubbed her back as she leaned into him. After 30 minuets or so she felt another one. She held his hand as he couched her through another one. He got ahold of the midwife. Abby woke up to Ashley moaning. She rubbed her eye sleeply. " Daddy what's going on is mommy okay." Abby asked. " Mommy is getting ready to have your brother." Angel said. " Why don't you go back to bed and sleep some more and I will get you up when it is time when your brother is here." Angel said carrying their daughter.

Amber arrived and made sure Abby was asleep in her room but, to also help out when needed. Ashley was in their bed feeling every contraction. She cried cause she was in pain. Ashley leaned into his shoulder and he patted her on the back. " Why don't I check her and see where she is at Angela said." She checked her. " It's time to push for sure she is there." Angela said. They got Ashley over on the side of the bed and put her legs on a bench. Angel sitting behind her holding her hands. Amber standing by her side. They began to push. Ashley giving all she can while Amber checked on Abby she was still asleep.

Then with out a care in the world their son arrived. The loud cry of a healthy baby boy. Angel cried as his son arrived Ashley cried with him as he was put on her chest. Angela looked over the baby and gave her back to Ashley. Abby woke again and Ashley was cleaned up and able to move about. Angel got his princess and picked her up setting her on the bed. " Abby, meet your new baby brother Andrew Patrick Sinclair." Angel said. Abby looked at her new baby brother. " Hello, Andrew I am Abigail Rose Sinclair." Abby said. She gave her new baby brother a kiss and all was well in the Sinclair home.
