Chapter 18

As the time went on Angel and Ashley raised their children the best they could. Always installing that if you work hard you can do anything. One day Angel wasn't feeling well. So they went to the doctor. The doctor ran test and that's when they heard the news they didn't want to hear. " How long" Angel asked as his head was down. " A year maybe two." the doctor said. Ashley was in tears and historical. As her tears dried up. " What are our options." Ashley asked. " Well chemo seemed to be the only option the side effects are not great but, it can help you as long as need be." The doctor said. Angel confident as ever " Lets do it." The doctor gave him appointments he needed to be at.

The chemo was working but, the cancer was a lot more aggressive it got to the point were Angel was in the hospital holding his wife's hand as they talk and his children around his bed." Listen, to me dear. I want you to make sure everything is paid and that I am cremated." Angel said but, Ashley interuppted. " What funeral, Your going to be okay we will get to that point when we get there." Ashley said. " Dear you and I both know that we have time before I go and I don't think it is much more then you think." Angel said. Ashley grabbed his hand. " Do you remember the day we meet the day we ran into each other." Angel said " Yeah" Ashley said. " Tell me how it happened please." Angel said. " You know what happened as she cried his heartbeat was getting lower." Ashley said. " Please so I can remember and the children can hear it." Angel said.

As Angel closed his eyes. As Ashley told the story. The heart monitor started to sound the doctors and nurse were around the bed as she kept telling her story thru her tears pushing on. After she told her story he flat lined and the doctor came over and announced it. Ashley crying over his body holding his hand and kissing him goodbye each one of his children saying good bye. Ashley ran out of the room and into the waiting room with her knees close to her face. Singing take me home country road and threw her tears. Her kids sitting with her surrounding her with love and attention.

As the time has come to cremate her love she picked out all that need and did what she needed. They opened the casket one last time to say goodbye. As the casket slowly went into the incenrator and he was cremated and put in the ern. It was placed in the middle of the room and making sure everything was ready and perfect. Friends and family were gathered to say good bye. Their children sat and console her with her grand children sitting with her. Once the funeral was over Ashley took his ern with her and put in the a special place just for him.

As time has passed Ashley was getting sick and she too slowly passed just like Angel did. Their children opted to bury both just so they can be with each other. Back up in heaven a young Ashley and Angel meet the same way they did so many years ago. They looked down as each one of the family members went and greeted everyone with a great big hug and smiled. Angel and Ashley put on shows and dancing in heaven. The generations of Sinclairs carried on.
