*Zoes POV*

I sat down with Remi and held her hand as Fallon spoke, "Remi, there was an accident, your brother was binging your horses in when Storm spooked or something and attacked him, he was not awake at the time they picked him up, and later died at the hospital...I'm so sorry Remi....I know he was your only family member left..." Fallon said looking down, I covered my mouth with my other hand as my eyes filled with tears. I looked at Remi and she was staring at the floor "Re-" I started to talk but she jumped up and ran off, I looked at Fallon no was also crying "they were close weren't they..." I asked and she just shook her head yes trying not to cry more.

*Noahs POV*

Lexi, Daniel, and I were done riding and putting our horses away so we just sat inside and talked, we suddenly heard the front door slam open and shut and someone running up the stair, only to slam a door shut. I looked at Lexi confused and we started to walk to go find my sister when Zoe ran inside,Lexi grabbed her by the shoulders, "What's going on Zoe?" She asked worried and Zoe just looked at her "Fallon will tell you all later now move" she said fast, then got out of her grip and ran up the stairs. A few seconds later Fallon came in "Sis what's wrong" I asked her as she sat down and wiped her eyes "Remi's brother died today, in a horse accident, it was her only family left, and the horse she trusted the most, I bet she won't even go near him now" she said as a fresh batch of tears hit her face. Both Lexi and I sat beside her to comfort her, hoping Zoe could handle Remi.

*Zoes POV*

I knocked on her door softly "Remi...May I come in...it's Zoe" I asked gently and I heard her get up, a few seconds later the door opened. I took a look at her, she was a mess. "oh baby come here, it's ok I got you" I whispered to her, not caring if the name slipped out. She hugged me tight as I felt tears fall onto my neck and sweater, a few seconds later I felt her knees give out. I helped lower her to the floor, her back facing the door as I hugged her, she started to calm down as she was falling asleep, I played with er har and rubbed her back, comforting her as I hugged her, few minutes later she was asleep. I grabbed a pillow from the floor(it's clean no need to worry😂) and a small blanket, I laid her down and covered her up, closing the door slightly.  I walked downstairs and into the living room where Fallon and everyone else was, she was telling everyone what happened.

*The next day*

*Remi's POV*

I woke up and rolled on my side sighing, he was gone, storm killed him. I blinked back some freaks and changed into a sweater and shorts, not caring what I was wearing anymore, why would I. I heard a knock on the door and shuffled over to open it. Lexi was standing there. "hey Remi...Zoes down eating breakfast, everyone is, would you like some, plus it would be good for you to get up, and for Zoe to see you, she hasn't been the best last night or this morning." She told me and I sighed and grabbed her hand, I pulled my hood up as we walked down the stairs and down the little hallway, when we got to the dining table everyone was quiet, Lexi took me to a spot beside Zoe and I looked at her, she gave a small smile and waved, I just looked at her before laying my head on the table, I didn't want to do anything anymore. I closed my eyes and listened to everyone eating and talking quietly.

When we were done eating everyone put there plates away and went to the living room to get told what they were doing,

Daniel, Lexi,Noah and everyone were doing a group trial ride, I got to stay here with her if she stayed, or alone. "So Zoe what do you wanna do" Fallon asked and not even a second later she awnsered "I'm staying here." Fallon nodded and walked out to go get her horse ready.

*Zoe's. POV*

I looked over at Remi who was staring at the ground, I put my hand on her shoulder and she jumped before looking at me, her eyes were dull and she looked like all the life had been sucked out of her. "Remi, what would you like to do, we can do anything you want" I wold her, "i think-i think i just want to lay down and cuddle or something..." she whispered,I smiled and grabbed her hand "well where would you like to cuddle?" I asked her, she pointed in the direction of our room, I  got yup and helped her stand up before going up the stairs, "What room?" I asked her, she pointed to our room, we walked to the room and opened the door, letting us in before closing it, we jumped on the bed and cuddled, falling asleep.
