"Hey dad, I'll be right back. Peter's calling me."
"Don't go to far kiddo." Tony says to y/n.
"Hey babe."
"Hey beautiful, how's family bonding going?" Peter asks.
"It's good, really good." Y/n turns to Tony and Pepper and see her tap the housing for Tony's nano suit. "And they're arguing about the nano tech." Y/n groans.
"Well at least they waited till the end to talk about that."
"Yea, you're right." Y/n sighs, watching her father defend his reasoning.
"Are we still on for dinner?" Peter interrupts her train of thought.
"What? Oh yea, yea. Uhm, meet at the Thai place?"
"Perfect. Alright we're getting back on the bus now, I'll see you tonight."
"I love you."
"I love you too. Bye." Peter tells her.
"Bye y/n!" She hears Ned shout.
"Bye Ned!" Y/n smiles before ending the call and walking over to her dad and Pepper.
"And we should have no more surprises. Ever. I should promise you."
"Yes." Pepper responds wrapping her arms around Tony's neck.
"I will." Tony kisses Pepper.
"Blagh, really guys?!" Tony and Pepper pull back laughing to glare at her. Tony is about to jokingly jump her when a portal with gold circling it opens up.
"Tony Stark, y/n Stark, I'm Doctor Stephen Strange. I need you to come with me. Oh, uh, congratulations on the wedding, by the way." Strange says to Tony and Pepper.
"I'm sorry, you giving out tickets or something?" Tony asks, protectively stepping in front of y/n and Pepper.
"We need your help. Look, it's not overselling to say that the fate of the universe is at stake." Strange responds.
"And who's "we"?"
Then, someone walks through the portal behind Dr. Strange. "Hey, Tony."
"Uncle Bruce?" Y/n asks in shock.
"Hey kid." Bruce smiles. "Pepper."
"Hi."
"You okay?" Tony asks as Bruce walks forward giving Tony a desperate hug, not answering.

Strange's friend Wong uses his abilities to show a holographic representation of what he is saying. "From the dawn of the universe, there was nothing. Then, boom! The Big Bang sent six elemental crystals, hurtling across the virgin universe. These Infinity Stones each control an essential aspect of existence."
"Space. Reality. Power. Soul. Mind." The stones within the hologram light up and Strange says their name. "And Time." Strange does a hand motion over his necklace,  revealing the Time Stone, nestled within, emitting emerald light.
"Tell me his name again." Tony demands.
"Thanos." Bruce answers. "He's a plague, Tony. He invades planets. He takes what he wants. He wipes out half the population. He sent Loki. The attack on New York. That's him."
"What's our timeline?" Y/n asks, speaking for the first time.
"No telling. He has the Power and Space Stones, that already makes him the strongest creature in the whole universe. If he gets his hands, on all six Stones..."
"He can destroy life on a scale hitherto undreamt of." Strange interjects.
"Did you seriously just say "hitherto undreamt of"? Tony asks as he pulls his foot up behind him to stretch.
"Are you seriously leaning on the Cauldron of the Cosmos?" Strange retaliates.
"Is that what this is..." Tony begins but is cut off by Strange's cloak smacking his arm, surprising him. Tony stands shocked before straightening up. "I'm going to allow that. If Thanos needs all six, why don't we just stick this one down the garbage disposal?" He suggests.
"No can do." Strange answers.
"We swore an oath to protect the Time Stone. With our lives." Wong states.
"And I swore off dairy, but then, Ben & Jerry's named a flavor after me, so..."
"Stark Raving Hazelnuts." Strange says.
"It's not bad." Tony defends.
"A bit chalky." Y/n interjects.
"A Hunka-Hulka Burning Fudge is our favorite."
"That's a thing?" Bruce questions.
"Whatever. Point is: things change." Tony tells them.
"Our oath to protect the Time Stone cannot change. This Stone may be the best chance we have against Thanos." Strange tells Tony.
"But it may also be his best chance against us." Y/n tells everyone.
"Well, if we don't do our jobs..."
"What is your job exactly, besides making balloon animals?" Tony asks.
"Protecting your reality, douchebag."
"Ladies, can we save this for after the world is safe?" Y/n jumps in before they could go any further.
"Y/n's right. The fact is that we have this Stone. We know where it is. Vision is out there somewhere with the Mind Stone, and we have to find him now." Bruce tells the two men.
"Oh, there's a problem with that." Y/n tells Bruce.
"What do you mean?"
"Vision turned off his transponder a few weeks back. He's offline." Y/n explains.
"What? Tony, you lost another super bot?"
"I didn't lose him. He's more than that. He's evolving." Tony defends.
"Who could find Vision, then?" Strange asks.
"I know someone." Y/n speaks up.
"No, y/n no!" Tony points at her.
"Who?" Bruce and Strange ask.
"Probably Steve Rogers." Tony responds flatly.
"Oh, great." Strange sighs exasperatedly.
"Maybe. But..." Tony trails off.
"Call him." Bruce tells Tony, unaware of the events from 2 years prior.
"It's not that easy." Tony sees Bruce's confused face. "God, we haven't caught up in a spell, have we?"
"No."
"The Avengers broke up. We're toast." Tony snaps at Bruce.
"Broke up? Like a band? Like The Beatles?" Bruce asks, rather surprised.
"Steve and Dad fell out hard. They aren't on speaking terms." Y/n explains, catching Bruce's attention.
Bruce turns from you to your father, pleading with him. "Tony, listen to me. Thor's gone. Thanos is coming. It doesn't matter who you're talking to or not."
Tony hesitates, before pulling out the cellular phone Steve mailed him. Before he can even select "Call", he pauses, distracted by an unusual rumbling.
"Say, Doc, you wouldn't happen to be moving your hair, would you?" Tony asks after turning to Strange.
"Not at the moment, no."
Tony and you look at the Hulk-made opening through the ceiling and see debris flying by outside. Y/n exits the Sanctum through the front door and scans the chaotic surroundings.
"Y/n!" Tony shouts following her out the door.
