Shuri and y/n continue to work steadily to complete the Mind Stone's removal; Wanda stands by tensely.
"How much longer?"
"Geez, Wanda, your worse than me when I was 9." Y/n laughs. "We almost got it okay, just hang tight."
Wanda turns back to the window and watches as at least one set of spinning spiked wheels separate into individual wheels and starts veering all over the battlefield, and then looks anxiously back at Vision.
"I gotta get out there." Wanda says.
"Both of you go, I got this." Shuri tells y/n and Wanda.
"You sure?"
"Now." Y/n and Wanda run outside of the lab. Wanda and Y/n use their powers to fly to the battlefield.
Wanda lands in front of Okoye and Nat, eyes glowing red, lifting the whole device well clear of the ground. Looking behind her, the friendly forces have scattered and replaced by a charging mob of Outriders -- the perfect place to throw one of the spinning things. Y/n throws another one at a different group of creatures. Black Widow straightens with a pleased smile, Okoye with an amazed look.
"Why were they up there all this time?" Okoye questions.
Y/n runs over and kills a creature before it can take Steve from behind. "Y/n? If your here and Wanda's... who's with vision?"
"Guys, we got a Vision situation here." Sam says into comms.
"Somebody get to Vision!" Steve shouts.
"I got him!" Bruce shouts over comms. Bruce figured out the Hulkbuster's repulsor thrusters and makes a beeline for the android.
"I'm heading that way." Y/n flies back towards the forested area outside of Shuri's lab. She arrives in time to see Hulk send the alien across the field. "Well, guess you didn't need my help." Y/n smiles.
"Yea yea, help Vision." Bruce says.
"Right."
Corvus Glaive and Vision struggle in the forest at the foot of Mount Bashenga. Glaive grasps Vision's shoulder and uses the leverage to force his blade once more into the android's chest. "I thought you were a formidable machine. But you're dying, like any man." He yanks his blade out, and Vision collapses. As he bends over his fallen opponent to retrieve the Stone, he's tackled by Captain America at full speed.
"Get outta here!" Steve exchanges blows with Glaive, using his arm-shields as offence as well as defence, then turns to Vision again. "Go!"
"Come on Vis." Y/n tells him, helping him stand to his feet.
"No, y/n, I cant." Cap keeps blocking the alien's staff weapon using his shields, finally knocking it from the alien's hands just before he's thrown over a fallen tree and pinned, Glaive's hand at his throat. Even with his physical abilities, Cap's struggling -- until a blade pierces Glaive's chest, and is pushed all the way through. Vision raises his enemy in a perfect mirror of the first attack on him, and holds him for a moment, before dropping Glaive's corpse to one side and collapsing exhaustively. Y/n us3s her powers the catchVision before running over. "We don't trade lives, Captain."
