Have you ever just felt the wind on your skin?
Making the hairs on your arms dance,
as you breathe in the silky air that brings you life.
Have you ever just stood on a rock over the ocean and feel the waves crash into your ears?
the salt reaching up and piercing through you nose like a bullet,
the distant laughs of children mixing with the waves to perform a perfect symphony.
Have you ever just laid in the grass?
Feeling the small needles craw on your skin,
your body heating up as the sun beats on your tiny face, breathing in.
Have you ever just stared at a bird flying?
Its wings caring its little body to it's home,
to be with their family, its all they've ever known.
Have you ever just sit and be in the moment?
Seeing the world around you and noticing so much more,
the animals, insects, the weather, people.
