I step outside in need of air that's not used
but produced.
I step onto the grass that is still wet from the rain,
wanting to sink in, just to stop the pain.
You always tease,
you always pry,
I'm just begging you to stop. PLEASE, not one more time!
Yellow specks the dark,
trying to signal me there's hope but then it's gone.
I want to shrink to a speck but I have a birthmark,
so I stay your pawn.
You always tease,
you always pry,
I'm just begging you to stop. PLEASE, not one more time.
I try to find the stars they are the only thing that will keep me sane
but the clouds are in the way
wanting me to endure the pain
so I fray.
You always tease,
you always pry,
I'm just begging you to stop. PLEASE, not one more time.
I try to face the messed up air, breathing.
So you can see I'm strong, "IN YOUR FACE!"
battling your words but also dreaming
of a better place.
You always tease,
you always pry,
I'm just begging you to stop. PLEASE, not one more time.
You can't really see
but I'm prying on my knees
hoping some one has the answer
just not lung cancer.
You always tease,
you always pry,
I'm just begging you to stop. PLEASE,
not one more time.
