THE DOOR TO THE KIPPEN HOUSEHOLD WAS THROWN OPEN, as Tj rushed in, tears still cascading down his face. Amber was previously making out with Andi on the couch, but stopped and jumped away from the brunette as soon as she heard the loud noise.

"Tee?" She asked softly, getting up quickly. Tj was standing beside the door, tears still rushing down his face. Amber rushed over to her brother, wrapping her arms around him without hesitation. He sobbed loudly into her shoulder and she hummed a tune, rubbing his back. Andi watched the exchange in shock, she's never seen Tj in such a state. Then again, neither has Amber. 

"Hey hey, Tee, what's wrong?" She whispered as she pulled away from the hug, sympathy in her eyes. Usually, Tj would snap at her to not call him that dumb nickname and to stop pitying him but he stayed quiet, breathing in sobs.

"Your hand!" Andi said in shock, pointing to Tj's left hand, which he had slammed into the pole. Amber looked down and grabbed it, worry filling her insides.

"You didn't get in a fight again... did you?" She asked slowly like she was talking to a little kid. Tj simply shook his head, still crying.

"Cy- and I- then Bu-but.." Tj mumbled out and tried to move but Amber kept her hands on his arms, keeping him in place.

"Slow down. Start from the beginning." She said calmly and Tj nodded but still let out another sob.

"It all happened so fast I-"

"Andi can you go get the first aid kit." Amber requested lightly and her girlfriend nodded, getting up and running off to the Kippen's bathroom.

"Sit down, Tee." She whispered, like a mom. Amber directed him to the couch where she was previously sitting. He sat down like a rag doll, hardly keeping his head up. Silent tears continuously were rushing down his face, Tj's heart was sobbing and mourning because, to him, he had already lost his soulmate. Which they say, that kind of heartbreak is like no other. Of course, Tj didn't really lose Cyrus but considering how he was a teenager and he had lost so many people, this seemed like the end.

"Tee?" Amber whispered again like she was nervous to get him out of his tearful trance.

"Okay... Well," Amber leaned forward, nervous as Tj began. Andi came back down with the kit, handing it to Amber silently, then sitting next to Tj and rubbing his back. Sure, Tj hardly knew Andi. They've only spoken once. But Andi is his sister now and that means that she feels protective of him and he feels the same with her. Tj and Andi actually had a lot in common, they tended to think the world revolved around them at times and they both have complicated family issues and weird hobbies. Andi grabbed Tj's hand and squeezed it, the action made him feel safe.

"This morning... I was talking to Buffy." He began and Andi met eyes with Amber as they shared a knowing look. Both knew how Buffy and Tj hated each other.

"And I was asking her to tutor me. I needed it, so I could play. Anyways she said she'd help me after school."

"So she agreed! That's good right?" Amber butted in and Andi cringed slightly at her girlfriend's attempts to lighten the mood. Tj shook his head with a scoff at the thought of Buffy actually caring about him enough to try and help him.

"If. She said she'd tutor me IF I got her friend a muffin. Her friend-"

"Jonah?!" Andi asked quickly and Amber elbowed her lightly for interrupting. Tj half heartedly smiled at that.

"No, Cyrus. Anyways I realize that he's the cutest person I've ever seen, then I find out he's my soulmate." Tj said slowly and his heart wanted to cry because Cyrus wouldn't even want to be his soulmate anymore. Amber and Andi squealed but saw Tj's face and calmed down again. Amber frowned at her brother's face, not liking his dull look.

"But... what's wrong then?" She asked him and Tj sighed, biting his lip.

"Well after school Buffy and I had our tutoring session and... it didn't go so well. I stormed out and ran into Cyrus. Who was looking really gorgeous with the sunlight on his skin and his eyes were like two pieces of-"

"Tee!" Amber interrupted and the taller boy blushed, realizing that he had been ranting.

"Oh uh... sorry... anyways so we had a moment and then Buffy came. Which made Cyrus leave so i was mad and-"

"Don't tell me you punched Buffy!" Andi said angrily and Amber elbowed her again.

"Andi shush! You know if he did then he'd be dead by now. Buffy wouldn't let someone hurt her without hurting them back." She stated and Andi nodded, calming down. Tj watched them with amusement but he still felt a pang. That will never be him and Cyrus. The thought of that alone almost brought tears to his eyes again.

"Anyways um... I said some things but then Buffy said... she said that she'd tell Cyrus what I said and he'd... he'd ha-hate me t-too." Tj started crying again as he spoke and Amber bit her lip. She wanted to scream and call Buffy a bitch but Andi was still Buffy's best friend and Amber didn't want to make her girlfriend feel uncomfortable.

"Cyrus won't hate you. He's not like that." Andi said sweetly and Tj looked at her slowly. He wanted to disagree but Andi knew Cyrus better than him, he had only met the petite brunette today.

"I just met him and then I go and ruin it." He mumbled sadly. While this was happening, Andi heard her phone vibrate and grabbed it from the table. Buffy sent a text saying, 'Meet at the spoon?' to which Andi replied with a 'Sure'. She stood up slowly, letting go of Tj's hand.

"I have to go. There's a good hair crew meeting at the spoon. I can only guess what that's going to be about." She said with a sour tone. Andi knew she should take Buffy's side on this but... no matter what Tj said to her, it doesn't justify her to threaten to take away his true love that's like... Andi couldn't imagine if someone said that to her about Amber. She had to go before Buffy started convincing Cyrus that Tj was a bad person.

"I will redeem you, Tj!" Andi declared as she left their house and started her journey to the spoon.
