Chapter 3
Lucy's POV
I walked in the library for lunch once more.
"Finally! I've been trying to figure out where you disappeared to at lunch and I've finally found out. Come on, you're coming with me" Natsu said. I squealed as he pulled my arm and dragged me to the cafeteria.
"N-Natsu... N-No" I stuttered. Not only did I like him pulling me, but my ankle was pounding from it being dragged behind me. He pulled me to a table. Half of the people I knew and the other half I didn't. He sat down and I just stood in front of the seat he wanted me to sit at. I looked at my feet, rubbing my arm.
"Sit down." Natsu chuckled. I blushed but then he made me sit down. I gulped when I noticed all eyes were on me.
"Hey there. I'm Erza" A beautiful girl with scarlet hair greeted with a grin.
"I'm Jellal" a man with blue hair grinned at me.
"I'm Levy, if you didn't remember" Levy smiled, sending me a friendly wave.
"Gajeel." A guy with black spiky hair said.
"I'm Mirajane." Another gorgeous girl smiled.
"And I'm Gray." Gray, who I already knew, greeted.
"M-My name is Lucy" I said, pushing my fallen bangs back behind my ear. That's when I realized I made a mistake.
"My, my, what happened to you" Mirajane asked, inspecting me. I covered my bruised eye in panic.
"Wait, what the hell?! When did you get these? Did somebody do this? I'll beat their asses!" Natsu began to grow protective as he growled.
"I-It's no big deal... really" I said, skating my hand in front of my face, not wanting them to get involved.
"You're our friend! Of course it's a big deal!" Levy said. She was seated on the other side of me.
"F-Friend? Y-You and me?" I asked, pointing at myself.
"Of course silly!" she giggled.
"We're all your friends now" Erza smiled. I looked down shyly, smiling.
"Now, tell us who did this to you" Jellal said. seriously.
I mumbled the name very quietly under my breath.
"A-Ah... What was that?" Mira asked with a confused smile, leaning towards me.
I mumbled again.
"Lucy..." Natsu warned. I sighed.
"L-Lisanna's friends" I hesitated.
"Of course!" Natsu growled, slamming his fist against the table.
