Chapter 5

Lucy's POV

It's been a week since my attempt of suicide. Nothing's changed to be honest besides the fact that I started talking to everyone again but... I haven't forgave him.

"Hey Luce" Natsu grinned. I gave him a fake small smile. I continued to walk the school halls. It was the end of school. Natsu gave up on trying to talk to me, so he went to Basketball practice. He's late for it because of me.

"Ew she's still here" A girl in the hallway gagged.

"I heard she tried to kill herself" her friend told her.

"What a loser" she said.

"I know right"

"Like seriously, she can't even succeed in suicide? How stupid can you be"

"Apparently her stupidity hasn't even met it's climax yet"

"Haha" they began to laugh together

I hid my face with my bangs as I clutched my books to my chest. I dashed down the hallway, out of school and back to the safety of my home.

After shutting my door behind me, I grabbed my laptop, in hopes of seeing Levy online.

Sadly, she wasn't.

I frowned and sighed. Then, I noticed my message box. I had 36 new mail.

They all hurt me. I didn't know any of the people who sent them to me. But that didn't matter. I didn't cry though. It was like I was out of tears. I only say there, staring at the messages.

~Four Months Later~

Just through these four months, it's been rough. I've tried multiple times to kill myself

Pills✓
Bleeding to Death ✓
Suffocate✓
Drowning ✓
Firearms ✓
Electrocution ✓
Dehydration ✓
Knives ✓
Jumping in front of a Train ✓

I've tried it all but somehow, Natsu is always there to save me.

"Why can't you just let me die... Please, let me go..." I mumbled to him. Natsu and Gray we're currently in my house. They've been coming to see me everyday to make sure I was safe.

"You're a hand full, Lucy. I don't want you to die and to prevent that from happening, how about I let you stay with me from now on?" Natsu asked seriously. My eyes widened then I closed them and crossed my arms. I stuck my nose in the air, as if refusing to stay with this asswhole. Which I was.

"Luce, you have no choice." Natsu shook his head.

"Someone needs to keep you safe, Lucy." Gray said, putting his hand on my head. I sighed and was about to say something when a knock was heard at my door. All three of us quieted down. Gray got up to open the door but I held his arm, making him stay in place.

I stood up and walked over, opening my door. A tall, muscular male stood towering over me. His chocolate eyes and beautiful features reminded me of the face I saw each time I looked into a mirror. I gazed at him in awe.
