Quickly, the police grab Bobby and handcuff him and a few policemen walk him out. Medics rush over to me and put me in a truck to drive to the ER. Lauren is allowed in with me.

Lauren's P.O.V

As I sit in the waiting room bouncing my leg impatiently I feel my phone buzz in my pocket
I look and see it's a text from Yammy.

Yaz: "Hey Lauren, I got a call from the hospital, I'm on my way you okay?"

'no, how can I be, this is all my fault if I would of never told him about Bobby he wouldn't be hurt' I think. "im as fine as someone can be in this situation i guess. what about you?" I send

Yas; "I'm okay. be there in a few minutes"

"Okay" I text back.

Soon Yammy arrives and later the others do to. Eventually they allow us to go back and see Scott and as I walk in I almost bust into tears but I try and stay strong since the whole groups here. As i look at him I see that the cut on his face now has a bandage on it.

His face is quite pale and I'd think he were dead if i couldn't see his slow steady breaths and hear the beep of the machine he that was plugged into him.

We all stay for a bit and just talk. eventually the topic of how this happened pops up and no one knows except me but I can't tell them about Bobby....not yet... I stay a quiet throughout the time every ones there, I can tell that Yaz gets suspicious but she doesn't say anything... Eventually everyone starts hearing home as its getting late but I stay and so does she...

"How much longer do you wanna stay babe?" I hear Kyle ask her
"I need to talk to Lauren real quick, privately..." She responds
"Okay, I'll wait outside the room, just come out when your done talking" He says and with that i hear the door close and Yaz walks up to me and then sits beside me. She stays silent for a little finally speaks..."Lauren I can tell somethings up, what's wrong?" She says, a hint of worry in her voice

"I-I'm fine"

"Lauren...." She says staring at me "I know something's wrong, I know you were with him when this happened- i can tell-" She says but gets interrupted by knocking on the door, followed by Dante peeking his head in "how much longer are you gonna be mom?" He asks quietly.
"Actually we just got done talking" I say smiling at him "you should head home Yaz, its getting late"

"Shouldn't you head home too then?" She says, eyeing me

"I'm leaving in a minute, anyways nice seeing you again.....bye" I say hugging her

"Were talking tomorrow" she whispers in my ear while we're hugging

"Bye Lauren" she says walking away...A little bit after she's gone I scoot my chair closer to the hospital bed and put my head down gently on it....

I wait a minute then speak... "I'm sorry" I whisper as I feel tears finally making their way down my face "I shouldn't have told you, if I didn't you wouldn't be hurt..."

" i should've never told you" I mumble as close my eyes...

I feel a gentle hand rub my back and i quickly look up confused

" -your up" I say as I watch him turn his head to face me...

"Yeah...I heard a bit of what you said...its fine, I needed to know. now you won't be hurt anymore" he says, smiling

"Yeah but your hurt now..."

"Mines just temporary, I'm sure it'll go away soon" he says, scooting closer to the railing of the bed

"I guess" I say sighing "but I still wish you didn't get hurt"

"I'm fineeeee" he says laughing lightly, wincing as his stomach moves.

~~~Scotts P.O.V~~~

"I'm fineeeee" I say laughing lightly. Lauren rolls her eyes.

the laughing hurts my stomach but it seemed to have lightened the mood.

"Your clearly not but okay" she says giggling

'she has such a peaceful giggle honestly' I think as I get lost in thought...

"Hello?" Lauren says laughing, waving her hand in front of my face " you there Scott?"

"Huh, yeah, sorry, I was just, thinking about something...."

Silence growns and soon my mind wanders again and then my thoughts go to her again, how perfect everything about her is, how she can make the saddest things happier....

Soon I end up thoughtless, just staring at her while she looks at me

I mindlessly stare at her. the nurse comes in soon, sliding open the door and moving the curtain and begins to speak, "Sorry to interrupt but visiting hours end in 5 minutes ma'am" She says politely whilst looking at Lauren

"Okay, thank you" Lauren replies turning her gaze to the nurse

The nurse nods and leaves. I speak up "You can still stay at my place, if you want"

"but wont it be kind of akward? staying in your house without you?"

" i dont think so... it'll be like staying at a hotel. also you can wear something of mine while you're there if you want." i smile

"okay" she sighs and grins

my smile grows "There's a key in the birdhouse"

"you have a birdhouse?-" shes asks

" yes and i love it" i grin proudly

she gets up, putting the chair back where it was supposed to be and then walking over to me.

"I guess I'll get going. night, love you" she says hugging me then grabbing her phone

"Night, Love you more" I say smiling as she walks to the door. she glances over her shoulder and lightly smiles at me before turning back around and continuing to leave.

Soon she's gone and I'm left alone again. Eventually, after an hour or so of staring at the ceiling and listening to the heart rate monitor beep, I fall asleep.

~~~Laurens P.O.V~~~

I leave the hospital and remember that I rode in the ambulance and didn't drive so I'm gonna have to walk. luckily though, Scott's house isn't to far and the weather is fairly nice tonight...

Eventually I arrive at Scotts and I get the key from inside the birdhouse. what a strange place to hide a spare key but then again thats the point.

I unlock the door then walk in, closing the door and locking it back behind me.

Its around 10:30.

i go to his guest room. im too tired to change so i just lay down in my leggings and hoodie, they're quite comfortable anyways. it doesn't take long for me to fall asleep.
