Lauren's P.O.V

As I explain everything to her I watch her face go between confused, sad, angry, and what I thought was frightened, possibly.

"Im so sorry Lauren!" She says sadly after I finish

"Its fine...its over now" I say sighing

Time skip (bc idk what they'd talk about after that so yeah)

As I get in the car I drive to the hospital and go see Scott. Soon after I arrive the nurse let's me in and he looks down from the ceiling to me

"Hey" he says, smiling

"Hey" I respond awkwardly "so, how much longer do they think you'll be in here?"

"Uhm, the doctors said I could be free in a couple of months but that I'll still have to be careful cause it'll be sore most likely" he states

"Okay" I say, soon after the room going quiet

"Sooo, how are you?" He says breaking the silence

"Im fine" I say " a-and you ? "

"bored" he giggles

Time skip bc imma just leave that awkwardness by itself cause hhhhh-

Third Person P.O.V

Lauren checked up on Scott everyday until he was released from the hospital; after he was released Lauren stayed with him so that they both had company. Every night they spent time with each other, playing games on his consoles and watching movies.

Scotts P.O.V

"Hey theres this movie you probably havent seen yet, wanna watch it with me?" I ask Lauren

"Sure!" She says " What kind of movie is it?"

"You'll see" I say looking it up and playing it on Netflix. I scoot back and sit back at the top of the bed and soon Lauren joins me

"So now can I know what it is since you started it?" She says

"No, you'll have to figure it out" I say evilly

Time skip

a stupid jumpscare pops up on the screen I feel Lauren jump beside me. I laugh at her jumpiness and she lightly punches me in my shoulder. "Ouch!?" I say dramatically placing my hand on my shoulder. I see Lauren giggling quietly and I smile

"Damn it! again?!" She says, jumping again at the lame jumpscare noise from the movie.

Time skip (even tho I've done way to many already in this chapter-)

As the horror movie ends i change it to The Office to try and calm Lauren down.

During watching The Office I feel Lauren snuggle up next to me and I wrap my arm around her shoulders.

we fall asleep intertwined, both still wearing my clothes from earlier that day...

In the morning (this is Technically a time skip but i refuse to add  even more so this is just gonna be called "in the morning"-)

As i wake up i look around and feel something move beside me so I look down beside me and see Lauren asleep, comfortably snuggled into my chest and I smile. I check the time and notice that its 4am, that's just... great.

I realize I won't be able to fall asleep again so I continue watching The Office, occasionally laughing lightly.
As time flys by I soon notice Lauren begin to open her eyes slightly then finally open them fully.

"Good morning sunshine" I say smiling and looking down at her

"Morning" she says. she lets go of me and gives me some space but stays close.

"How'd you sleep?" I asked

"Fine...how 'bout you?" She says running her hand through her hair

"I slept fine too" I reply

"nice" she says sleepily. "Im gonna hang out with Yammy later, is that alright?"

" lauren you dont have to ask me if you can hang out with someone. i don't care. "

" alright "

Time skip lmao

Scotts P.O.V

Lauren had already left to hang  out with Yammy hours ago. I'd gotten bored so I decided to go to my quiet place for the first time in a while.
I walk into the forest. I see the lake and go around to the right of it. I climb up the ladder into the tree house. When im in i look around. there's a little bookshelf, a flower in the window sill, a calendar, a bean bag, blanket, and a rug. same as i left it.

I turn on my phone and mess around on it before playing my music and turning my phone off. theres no wifi and data doesn't work here. I update the calendar thats hung on the wall before sitting in the bean bag and getting comfortable.

I lay there for a while and the sound of my music begins to fade. the rays of sun shining though the window warm me. the world slowly slips away as i fall asleep.

a/n: hello its 2022 me again. sorry but this is the end of the story. i left it on a cliffhanger when i wrote it a while ago bc i lost inspo and i would finish it but i dont have the inspo now either. hope you enjoyed tho.
