An aroma mash-up of roses, freesias, lilac, peonies and everything in between, seemed to fill his nose—the blossoms that were heavy with scent, sitting next to each other took the mischievous cherub on a botanical scent journey that rarely missed a beat, even if it had been peppered with the slight bitter trail of Ivy or an earthy pine branch on the way. "Ah," He exhaled, eyes closing as he paused.

He eyed the young Dandelions hungrily—they were the sweetest when picked young. He adored the  sweet, honey-like flavor unlike mature flowers that were bitter.  Angelo always thought the bud was better than the flower.

He looked around sneakily, hoping to not catch the gaze of curious customers or concerned employees. When he felt the coast was clear, he quickly snatched a flower, stuffing it into his mouth. With a hum of satisfactory, he continued his hunt around the flower shop for more 'snacks'.

Just as he began walking, his gaze met a cat. He immediately melted at the sight of the feline—he bent down, motioning for the animal to come to him as he chewed the flower. "Come," He whispered, his soft hand motioning for it to follow the simple gesture. "Come on." He said as the cat began to stride closer. It's grey fur looked slightly dingy, causing him to frown—he instinctively picked it up, shocked that she was obliging. Maybe, this was fate. Angelo thought. Maybe him and this cat were a pair to be.

He quickly stood to his feet, exiting the flower shop without yelling his usual 'see you next time'. The cat leaned closer to him, purring as it rested peacefully in the cherub's large arms. "Shhhh," The sneaky angel murmured. He'd give him a bath in his stream and they'd live peacefully together. Fate.

"Nyma!" He heard a shout that startled the angel and the cat. He turned to the shrill voice, his gaze meeting Gemini. The weary man reached for his pet, snatching her from Angelo's arms—his eyes innocent and confused. "Were you planning on stealing my cat?" He questioned, eyebrow raised.

"Not steal," Angelo began to babble on. "I thought she didn't have a home so I was going to take her to mine–and care for her." He tried to explain, his large eyes wide with embarrassment. Gemini chuckled in response, the man's innocence softening him.

"It's okay. Nyma is lowkey like a siren," Gemini smiled, adjusting the feline in his arms. "Seducing men into giving her things." He mimicked the pur, holding the cat in the air as he cooed. "Isn't that right, cutie?"

"Oh," Angelo laughed.

"So, I haven't seen you in a while," He began, moving aside for other pedestrians to continue their walk without interruption. "Since the ice cream."

"Yeah."

"You wanna..." Gemini's eyes filled with something Angelo couldn't name–they darkened with desire and his mouth curved into a seductive smirk. "go back to my place?"

Angelo thought for a moment, wondering how could this man trust a stranger so easily—carelessly inviting him to where he laid his head. But Angelo didn't object, the angel simply smiled and nodded. He fell into pace with the striding man.

They soon entered his small studio apartment. Angelo walked in first, giving Gemini time to lock the door and set Nyma down. "Turn around." Gemini said, his voice lust filled and hungry. Angelo obliged, turning curiously but only to be met with the feeling of Gemini's lips crashing toward his mouth. The hard kiss caused the cherub to stumble back, placing his hands on the hips of Gemini who in response groaned at the sudden contact, his lips harshly attacking Angelo's. He was forcibly shoved, causing him to stumble back. "What?" He shouted, wiping the saliva from his mouth as Angelo did the same—their shocked expressions mirrored one another's.
