How have I been?? What have I been up to??
I have been preparing for the internal defence of my final year project. I wrote my final, final exam on 29th august, so am 99 percent through with University. Yay.!! My internal defence is on 26th September.
My day, today has been very educating and interesting, how??
My mom invited me to accompany her to her farm, *yeah, my mama has a farm its about 100 metres away from our house, its actually a neighbour's un-developed,fenced land.lol.* the farm is mainly a yam farm, with a sprinkling of maize/corn here and there (we planted like 3 handfuls of maize). While we were removing some maize cobs, my mama saw a rat munching on some maize, that the rain had fallen its stalk to the the ground. She immediate showed me, I was like, "oh my God, what are we going to do?" , my mama smiled and replied "we are not going to do anything, that's the blessing of farming, the fact that you get to feed not only yourself, and your neighbours but also the rats, the ants and the birds".yeah, my mama is really amazing. So, we got about 30 cobs and then we walked home with it, our neighbour, 12 year old, collected it and helped us take it home. He removed the leafy green back and then he removed the maize from the cobs, and he took it to his house to dry it. Yeah, African respect of elders. Lol. Enough of the makeshift farm stories.
Sitting at home and doing nothing is kind of my new occupation, I read a lot of stories and novels on wattpad and smashwords.com. I also watch a lot of TV, especially BET and a little bit of Trace TV and my brother's most hated channel FLN.lol. The other day, he was like, he wonders how I sit and watch FLN, when all they do is design kitchens and living rooms, and show weddings that are too extravagantly decorated. Lol. In my defence, am a female. Lol.
So, am still in love with 2chainz *truuuu*, I still think his an asset to rap and hip hop music. Who has noticed how 'on-fire' Usher is.?? Darn, like I was watching his new song, ummmhh, i think its titled 'dive', not sure, his vocals are 10/10 though.
Am in love with 'Sons of Anarchy', how hot can a series be, bad boys and fast Haley Davidsons, am swooning. I started watching it last week saturday, 10pm, on FX (africa). Check it out, it rocks, like its 'on-fire'. Lol. ('on-fire' is my new go-to word.).
What movies have I watched? I watched Prom on Thursday, its really cool and real. I've seen 'Safehouse' ,am cool, I know, I loved Denzel as the supposed bad guy. I have seen the trailers fo 'English Vinglish' its an Indian film, about a woman who travels to USA and she doesn't understand english and her turbulent and dramatic journey to learning it, i've also seen the trailer for 'the Campaign', starring Will Ferrell and Zack G. (the hangover, fat dude,funny). Just, seeing their names made me laugh. Ummmm. , thats all I can remember for now.
