Alec pov:

It was dark and I couldn't see anything. I could still hear the buzzing that woke me up. I felt around until I finally found my phone. "Hello?" I didn't even look at who was calling me. "Hello there, cutie." The voice was familiar but I was to tired to care. "Eh, what can I help you with?" There were a silence. "Alexander I'm so fuckt up, I was going home and than I stopped at a bar and now I can't stop crying and drinking, I just needed to talk to you." It was Magnus. I could hear his voice breaking, the sadness in his voice made my hart hurt. "Mags it's ok, do you need me to come and get you?" I was already sitting up. The tiredness was long gone. "No don't leave me." I chuckled.
"I'm not leaving I'm just coming to get you we can talk wile I'm drive, ok? Now I need you to tell me where you are." I talked like I would normally talk to a child. He sniffed. "Ok I'm," I herd him ask someone where he was. "I'm at Hunter's Moon, at the east side." I was already out the door on my way down to my car. "Ok, now you can start telling me why you are sad, ok?"
"No, can we talk about something else,  the theme of my sadness just makes me sad." I rolled my eyes, though I new he couldn't see it. "Ok, did you do something fun this weekend?" He hadn't said anything to me in two days. He hadn't called or sent any messages. "No, Rafael is doing his job and everything is fine." He said 'fine' while sighing. "Magnus, you don't seem fine." He sighed even louder. "I promised myself I wouldn't involve you in any of my problems and still I couldn't help myself calling you. Alexander I need you, I'm sorry." I could hear that he started crying on the last part. "No, no, it's ok, it's ok to need people, and don't apologise Mags."
"I like the way you say Mags, it's so sexy, Mags." I laughed. "Thank you?"
"Do you love me?" He said almost as a whisper. "Mags of course I do, you're my best friend." He was quite. "You're my best friend too." He was still whispering. I could sense a bit of sadness in his voice, though, but I pushed it away. "Ok, I'm almost there." I could sense that he became happy instantly. "Great."

"Hey Mags, you ok." Magnus was sitting in front of me, dried mascara marks all over his chins, and an empty glass in front of him. "Alexander!" He ran up to me, or he tried and he would have fallen if I hadn't caught him. "Hey, slow down there." He giggled. "Sorry I'm just so happy to see you." He blushed. "Yeah, me too I haven't seen you all weekend." He looked down. "Sorry about that."
"Magnus it's not your fault." He bit his lip. "But that's the thing, it is, I tried to avoid you." He still didn't look up. What was he talking about? He tried to avoid me!? "Mags, look at me, why did you try to avoid me?" My voice was kind. Our eyes met. His were filled with guilt and sadness. "I-I, Well, the thing is," he looked away. "My mom died on this day, the 19th I mean." He was fiddling whit his fingers and I could see that he was holding back tears. Of course, this explains everything, why he was crying, avoiding me, not wanting to talk about it. "Mags, but you don't have to avoid me because of that, I'm your friend, I'm suppose to be there for you in these situations." He nodded slowly. "I know, can you forgive me." Magnus had the cutest smile. "Already forgotten." I smiled back at him. "Now let's get you home, ok?" He was still smiling. "Ok, but can we not talk about, that." By 'that' he meant his mom. "If you want, I'll never mention it again." He nodded. "Thank you." He said in a whisper. He was so innocent and cute whan he was drunk. He tried to walk out the door but was wobbling too much to make it that far. "Let me help you." I took one of my hands in his and the other one on the lower part of his back. "Oh, you have strong hands, don't you?" He giggled. "Yeah, let's just get to the car, ok?" He nodded drunkly. "If you say so, caption."
