Alec POV:

"Hey Magnus when should I come over tonight?" We were standing outside Magnus dorm. "Maybe like 6-7, I need time to fix all this you know." He gestured to my face. I snorted. "Yeah and I need time to undo all this." I made a fancy movement with my hand to imitate Magnus very extra hand movements just seconds before. He gave me a 'think you're smart huh' look. "Just come over to my place with a hoodie in a few hours, ok?" I nodded. This was going to be a good day. I walked to my dorm and noticed my door was open. But I knew Will, Tessa and Jam was out and wasn't going to be back before at least 6, and the only person that knew were I had a spear key except Magnus was. Izzy. I open the door and as I thought there she was in the middle of the room. "Izzy what are you doing here?" I said a little to bitter, I loved my sister but she always came when I had plans with Magnus. She turned around and I saw she was holding a little bag and a big smile. "Nice to see you too bro." She came over and gave me a big hug. I wanted to resist the hug but I knew she was not going to release before I hugged her back and it was a long time since I saw her so didn't mind it that much. "You thought moving would get rid of us, it's not that easily?" Us? Before I could ask Jace walked out of my bathroom. When I saw him I realised I hadn't seen him since I moved which was a couple of months ago. Izzy had pulled back and was now sitting on my bed.

"Heard you had replaced us with Izzy's old crush." I rolled my eyes at Jace. I should have known Izzy would tell him about Magnus. "Oh so you would rather want me to be alone? Thanks, anyway why you guys here?" There were no anger in my voice, only curiosity. "To celebrate the day of the dead, why else!" For a second I had totally forgot what day it was. "Guys, you should have called cuz I already got plans." They squinted there eyes. "Well...room for two more?" Jace's stander smirk plastered on his face. I sighed. "I guess but have to talk with the rest first before can say anything for sure."
"Great, let's go and tell 'Mags', shall we." Jace was walking towards the door. I let out a loud sigh. Izzy was really never letting that go and now Jace was in on it too. This was going to be a long day.

"Alec the clock is only-"he cut off. And looked at Jace. "Who's this?" He nodded at Jace. We were all standing in Magnus' doorway. "This is Jace my best friend/ brother kind of- yeah I've told you about him before so I'm going to stop explaining this now." I blushed, sometimes I would just start to ramble. Magnus smiled. "Yes, you're ex-best friend. I've heard great things about you, Jake was it?" Magnus could make every insult sound kind. I new he was only trying to annoy Jace. "It's JACE and I see he replaced me with a rather," he did a once over of Magnus . "Fancy guy. But your better than Izzy's last crush, and I'm kind of his brother so I'm not out of the picture that easily, Margot was it?" Jace on the other hand was just good at insult in general. I new I had to step in before Magnus came with a comeback. "Anyway, the reason we're here is-" Jace cut me off. "We want in on your Halloween plans." A big smile on his face. Magnus made a surprised face. Maybe from the sudden change of Jace's mood. "Well sure, but you better have good costumes." He winked, and was now leaning on the doorframe. "Oh, we do, but we'll stop bothering you now, see you tonight then." Izzy smiled and grabbed both me and Jace by the arm. In a matter of seconds we were already back at my place. Not that it was a long walk considering I lived just down the hall.
"Magnus seems, nice." Izzy snorted.
"Oh please Jace you're just jealous that Alec has others friends than you." He nodded in an agreeing jet unwilling way.

The clock was currently 4.32pm, and Jace and Izzy was finally finished filling me in about what was happening back at home.
Mom had a breakdown because of her and dads wedding anniversary. After Robert cheated on her about a year ago she has worked extra long hours and I could see she barley held it together, she had lost two very important boys in her life in a couple of years and it was tarring her apart.
Clary and Jace has been on and off like it was before I left. Izzy was still single and mom wanted to come visit for a couple of days in December or something if that was possible. They had also told me about their costumes, Izzy was going as a dead singer -she told me the name but I don't remember- and Jace was gong as a duck hunter. Yeah he hate ducks, I don't know why he just dose.

"So what's your costume?" I froze. Jace was so going to laugh at me. "Well... I'm going as Magnus actually..." and I was right, Jace's loud laugher filled the room. Damn him and his beautiful laughter. "Ok Jace I get it, you can stop now." He didn't stop but he did tone it down a little. "Wait does this mean you're going to wear makeup?" Izzy's question made Jace start to laugh even louder than before. I started to message my forehead in frustration. This was going to be a long night.
