it was your first day on the academy. you were so excited and stressed at the same time. The school doesn't have a school uniform, so you will struggle to find an outfit for 5 days. You picked whatever on your closet to ease your headache.

You are wearing a plain black hoodie and your school blue mini shirt from your school last year. 🤣 You were wearing a green rubber shoes. Your bag was a blue Jansport bag. You immediately went out of the house after saying goodbye to your parents.

You walk to the school and felt very  nervous. Everybody seems to have friends. There are still a whole 15 minutes before the school starts. You search for the cafeteria, which was an ease. You go to the counter.

"Almond milk, please."

"Almond milk, please."

You were shocked because you were so in sync. Like you've practised what you were gonna say. You looked onto the voice. It was a boy. You both stared at each other.

He scanned your physique, so you scanned him too. You both gasp, in chorus again. He was wearing a black hoodie, too. He was wearing a blue jeans. He was also wearing a green rubber shoes. And he also freaking have a blue Jansport bag.

Both of you, really stared a long time at each other. None of you decided to say anything.

"Ugh- *ehem* here's the almond milk." the vendor said. We both got its attention.

"Ah, thank you."

"Ah, thank you."

You both said in chorus again. You both laughed, the moment was so surreal. You even thought you were dreaming.

"Uh, hey." you said, you were glad you are not in sync.

"Yeah, nice to meet you." he said. The bell rang and we head out of the cafeteria.

"So, where is your room? I'm on 2-C." he said and you gasped.

"Man, we are classmates. By the way, I'm y/n." you said.

"I'm Soobin. I'm relieved, we don't have the same name." he said and both of you laughed. You were about to enter the room but the professor was already there. The prof signalled to come in. He saw a vacant seat for two at the back. He grabbed your arm and pulled you to the seat. You both sat at each other.

Your classmates were looking at you two. You just look at each other and shrugged. The professor ago was your homeroom teacher. He announced that the seats were permanent and changes will happen if there are issues regarding seats. You and Soobin were so happy about it.

After the professor leave, your classmates look again at the both of you.

"Yah, you were a couple, right?" a girl said on front of you.

"Huh? What? Nooo."

"Huh? What? Nooo."

You both laugh at each other again because you two were in sync.

"Why are you matching outfits? Just tell us you are a couple." the girl keep on saying.

"We just met ago." Soobin said. You nodded.

"Then can we be a couple?" the girl said and her friend covers her mouth. You just laughed. You hoped you could get along with your classmates.

It was another day to school. You wore a floral dress, this time, hoping you won't get the same outfit as Soobin. You wore your sneakers and you carry the same bag.

You walk to school and you wear your earphones so that no one will talk to you. Someone went beside you and join you walk. You look and saw it was Soobin.

He was smiling and you find him cute. You smiled back. You look onto his outfit and you smacked your head. He was wearing a floral polo and he was also wearing sneakers.

"Seriously? What sorcery is this?" You asked him, you asked trying to get mad but you both just laughed.

"I don't know... my mom picked my outfit." he said and you laughed. You thought he was his mother's baby.

"I also don't know. Don't tell me you were also called Cucumber." you asked him.

"My nickname is Cucumber." he said and you both laughed again. You literally became best friends. You were glad you made friends. You made friends before and you still kept in touch with them. Actually you only had two before.

Not at all times, you and Soobin had the same outfit. But everyday, there's a moment when the two of you understand each other because you were so similar. It seems like you were communicating using telepathy.

It was Sports Day. Both of you were in the Red team. You even had the same hersey number. You join the volleyball team. You were tall, so the coach trained you to spike. Although you just joined for fun, you practised hard.

You were cheering Soobin on his game before your game on volleyball. You are on the front bleacher with a small paper written...

Their team called a time out. You went to Soobin and gave him water and towel.

"I'm jealous... y/n give us water, too." yeonjun said and you gave him. Soobin glared at him but he just laughed.

The other team won but I'm so proud of them because they are only 2 points below. The next game was the volleyball girls. My team called for a warm-up. I cheered for Soobin, and I tell him to cheer for me.

He was chilling there, scrolling om his phone. We were stretching and doing drills. The game starts.

Soobin was cheering for me, he was holding a small banner, too. Written: y/n, letzghetit.

Our team was ahead becausw the opposing team was not as skilled as us. Though, I am not that skilled. The net was on my reach, I could easily slam the ball.

In the end, our team won. I hugged my teammates and the other team congratulated us. I went to Soobin and he hugged me. I was shocked but I return the hug.

"Let go of mee... I am smelly." I said, I was begging someone for help but they are just staring at us while giggling.

"I am smelly, too." he said. He let go but he was still staring at me. His basketball teammates suddenly appeared holding a banner.

Yeonjun's banner is 'will you'. Beomgyu's banner is 'be my'. Taehyun's banner was 'girlfriend'. And Kai's banner was 'y/n'.

You were shocked because all this time you thought of Soobin as a brother. The crowd saw the banner and our class started cheering for us.

"y/n, it's okay if don't answer me quick. I'll wait." he said, while holding the flowers Kai lended.

"Nope, I won't make you wait." you said and he hugs you and lifts you up. You were so surptised. He kissed your forehead, you closed your eyes to feel the moment.
