Brian was waiting in front of the school as Liliana ran up to him. She was putting on her lab coat as she ran to him. When she got to him, she was already out of breath. "Sorry. Wanted to put this on ahead of time." She said.
"Don't worry about it. You said you wanted to head to the arcade right?" He asked.
"Yep!" She said happily before leading the way to the mall. Brian sighed before following her, keeping his hands in his pockets. As they walked, she took out the tickle orb from her pocket. "Here." She said while handing it to him. "Use it whenever."
"Thanks?" Brian said as he hesitantly took the orb and put it in his pocket.
They managed to take a few more steps before Liliana felt a ticklish feeling on the bottom of her feet. She giggled and looked at him, noticing that his hands were in his pockets. "Stop!" She pleaded while walking up to him. Her giggles grew as she felt the tickling hitting the middle of her foot. "Don't use it here!"
"I'm not using it." Brian said while Liliana attempted to take his hands out of his pockets. The young girl kept giggling as she felt the tickling go all over her foot.
Soon laughter took over as she felt the tickling hit the edge of her foot. "STOP! THATS THE SPOT!" She begged while pulling his left hand out of pocket. When she did, the tickling immediately stopped. Brain gave her a nervous smile while she pouted at him. "Turn it off!" She yelled in frustration. Brian sighed before pretending to turn it off.
Liliana smiled before walking beside him, keeping an eye on his left hand. "It's off." He reassured her.
"You can still turn it on." Liliana said while looking up at him. She went back to pouting at him while they walked up to the mall. Brian shook his head as they walked inside. And headed to one of the free platforms with the console. Liliana immediately picked the arcade in the console.
When she confirmed the choice, the platform began to move. Both of them struggled to maintain their balance. Liliana leaned on the console while Brian attempted to adjust his footing. The platform moved to the second floor at He far end of the mall.
When it came to a stop, they found themselves at the entrance of an arcade. Brian was the first to get off, followed my Liliana. They noticed that the entrance was a giant purple arch with a sign that said Space Dome Arcade. They walked inside and noticed that the ceiling was covered in stars and images of planets along a black ceiling. All around them were multiple video games that were coin operated as well as a few virtual reality games that were in the back. By he entrance was a coin machine that accepted cards and cash. Multiple kids were running around, playing many different games.
Brian gave Liliana a confused look when he saw what was around. However, he noticed that she was already at the coin machine. He walked over to see her coat pockets full of coins. "Um." He said while hesitantly grabbing her shoulder.
As soon as he did, she jumped slightly before turning to him. Her eyes were lit up when they looked at him. "Where to?" She asked excitedly. Brian looked around the arcade, noticing that he doesn't know any of the games around. He told her to choose before looking away.
Liliana immediately took his hand and dragged him to one of the games towards the front. Brian noticed that they were in front of a shooting game. "This first!" She said as she quickly inserted enough coins for two players.
Brian picked up one of the guns and began messing with it. However, before he learned how to use it, Liliana started the game. Their eyes turned to the screen, noticing multiple zombies walking towards them. He shot at the them, killing a few while Liliana were shooting the zombies down one by one.
Brian struggled to keep up with the girl's skill, eventually killing close to zero zombies each time they showed up. After a few minutes, his character died right before Liliana. The two looked at each other. He noticed that Liliana had a concerned look on her face. "Sorry. I got carried away." She said.
Brian looked away while blushing slightly. "It's ok." He said. Liliana smiled while taking his hand and dragging him to another machine. The machine had a racing game installed and was meant for multiple people to play.
"Let's try this one." She said while putting in enough coins for a single player.
Brian watched curiously as she setup the game. "You gonna play alone?" He asked.
"Nope. You're gonna play a couple rounds." She responded while walking out of the way of the drivers seat. Brian took his place in the drivers seat and selected the car he wished to use as well as the track.
When the race started, he immediately began by driving up behind the other racers. To his surprise, the race track looked similar to the city he was in. However, he didn't keep his eyes on the road and began running into multiple obstacles that was all over the road. Once he crossed the finish line, Liliana stifled a laugh as she saw him get last place.
"Don't laugh!" Brian yelled in embarrassment.
"Cmon, I wasn't laughing." She responded as Brian looked away from her. "Ok, one more time in the game before we go to the VR section. A race against me. Whoever loses has to play first." She said. Brian hesitantly agreed as she put enough coins for two players. They sat down and selected the same car to use. Brian selected the same track as before and they began racing. At first glance, Brian noticed that Liliana was in last place with him being a few places above her. However, once he began to focus on his game, she quickly shot out in front of him.
By the time the race finished, Brian lost while Liliana was a few spots above. Brian got up and walked over to the VR section. Liliana followed him, giving him a look of concern. "You don't have to if you don't want to." She said.
Brian sighed as he walked up to a VR headset and put it on. "I'll do it." He said with a slightly defeated voice. Liliana hesitantly put enough for a single player. When she did, the machine came to life. Liliana sat behind Brian, watching as he flinched constantly as if he was trying to fight off something.
She smirked as she snuck up behind him and began tickling his sides. Brian laughed due to the surprise attacks on his sides, squirming while trying to play. "Tickle tickle." Liliana said loud enough her him to hear.
"Stop! Please! I'm trying to play!" He begged while laughing. Liliana ignored him for a few minutes before stopping. When she did, he immediately took off the VR headset. "I died two minutes ago." He said with frustration before setting it on the ground.
"Sorry." Liliana said as she picked up the VR helmet. "Now, no doing the same thing back." She said with a smile.
"I'm not a tickle freak like you." He responded as she got the game running. Brian watched as she looked as if she was playing the game competently. She sighed while putting his hand in his pocket. Seconds later, he got out the orb that was still on. He noticed the image of her foot that was displayed, along with the usual options.
Brian looked at Liliana, smirking as he put his finger on the spot. The girl laughed loudly as she tried to swat at her foot. "NOT THE SPOT!" She begged while laughing. She frantically tried to find Brian with the headset on, but was unable to due to the game still being on.
Brian walked up to her and smiled. "You'll deal with it until you lose". He said just loud enough for her to hear.
"NO! PLEASE STOP!" She begged while laughing. Her laughter rang throughout the arcade, attracting some of the nearby kids. The kids watched as she attempted to swipe away the ticklish feeling on her foot while playing.
After a few minutes, Brian turned off the device and hid it in his pocket again. When he did, Liliana took off the headset and looked at him with a smile on her face. She walked up to him before collapsing next to him. "So mean." She said.
