Chapter Three

Year: 2047
Time: 11:07 A.M

Eli

As the glorious sunlight sprayed upon the busy plaza of the town" I couldn't help but feel a touch of excitement across my body.

It shivered down my spine, despite it being summer. However, this was a good type of exhilaration; this marked the day that I felt truly alive.

As I walked though the town, I started to smile bright as I made my way through Hickory Woods. People had already noticed me and showed me their admiration and respect, since I was the towns' hero.

Ever since my journey to collect the 16 melodies to save the planet, a lot has changed throughout the world; all my friends were now rebuilding back society as it once was, only this time, we were making smart choices and adding a little touch of pizazz.

Technology was slowing making it's return. With help of the new government and The Treaty Of Alliance, including Astro, we were slowing rebuilding the planet; Astro was now a king and he was making sure all the nations of the world were in good hands and living in harmony, which we were all enjoying. Blue was now an official PX Master and she was in the West, rebuilding the states. Lukas was off in search of an apprentice and had became a nomad. Daxter was now a father and he was busy raising his pups, along with his mate Bella.

As for me, I was enjoying my life here at home: Hickory Woods, North Carolina.

Since I had returned home, I had decided to change the town; We renamed it Hickory, since our town was nestled deeply in a hickory forest. I helped introduced Technology to the whole town and taught everyone the pros and cons of technology and how we can use it wisely. It has been really helping us all. From what I heard from Blue, it had really improved her family farm and the whole world. People had decided to change, thanks to Technology.

People decided to explore and travel across the world. When I came home, I had sparked a new light; a love and fascination of exploration. People from all ages, from kids my age (I'm 17 right now) to Adults, people wanted to go out and experience the thrills of traversing the world.

Another thing that was changed was that Blue, had become an PX Master. Astro and Lukas have decided to make an assessment to see if both of us were worth of becoming "True PX Warriors".

Blue passed her Assessment. I, however, didn't. But that didn't stop me from losing my spirits. It was the more reason for me to train harder and become strong!

Another good thing that happen was Daxter becoming a father. Even though we all knew Daxter and Bella were made for each other, we all thought they wouldn't have pups sooner than expected.

Molly, Paige and Dak. Those were the names of their three pups. Molly was like a normal, pampered pup; always disliked fighting and getting her paws dirty. She was trained well, unliked her younger siblings.

Paige, on the other hand, was down-right tomboyish. She enjoying getting in the mud and start fights. She was always hunting with my neighbors. They had made her into a hunting dog.

As for Dak, which was short for Daxter Jr, I can't say a lot about him. For one thing, he does have a decent relationship with everyone. Everyone except Daxter. He doesn't talk much and he usually keeps his sisters from hurting one another. But other besides that, he isn't really talkative, unlike his siblings.

The last thing I would include is that.... Ah, I got the girl of my dreams...

Lexi Mayhill.

I know what you're thinking (I'm physic you know!). What about Faith? About that...

Faith and I were having a good time in our relationship. We both enjoyed our company and each other but after sparking The Age Of The Modern Enlightenment Reformation, Faith and her family were sadly one if the victims. They wanted to start anew at a town and began their new lives there. That meant me and Faith wouldn't be together anymore. It was painful to see her go away but I knew I had to let her go. They say if you love them, you'll let them go.

Me and Faith had decided to becoming friends and had promise one day we will see each other again, even though we knew how slim of the odds of running into each other.

As I walked though the town, I had ran into Lexi. She smiled at me with delight and I couldn't help but to smile back at her.

She was a true goddess. She wore beautiful and enriching clothing from New York (Lukas had done his share of rebuilding the states). Not only did I love her sweet personality but I enjoyed her looks and her gorgeous hour-glass figure. Her clothes, consisting of her wearing black ankle boots, dark blue denim shorts that had white ripped details, a white tank top with some weird logo I'm not familiar with, a short black waistcoat and neon pink and white baseball cap that suited well with her long, beautiful, jet-black locks.

"Hey Eli!"

"Hey Lexi! Good morning!"

She smiled upon me and replied sweetly, "Good Morning!"

She walked closely to me and I felt a knot of nervousness and strangely excitement in my stomach. She began to look at my shirt and giggle sweetly.

"Eli, why don't you change your wardrobe? I understand you love the colors Green and blue, but one day you'll have to get rid of that striped shirt!"

I sigh and shrugged my shoulder. "Lexi, if I get rid of this shirt, then you'll have your pink and white clothing!"

I got her then. She began to blush and looked down upon her shoes. Her shoelaces were pink.

"That's not fair! Okay, I admit but still, th-"

I had interrupted her by the press of my lips against her cheek. She had became quiet and blushed harder than ever.

"It's ok; I was messing with you!"

She began to squeal in fright and hugged me as I returned her hug.

"Do you have to go..."

Those uncertain words had gotten me. I sighed slowly and told her yes.

"I can't be selfish; If I were to stay, then the world would collapse again. I'm sorry..."

"Would you... Come back to me?"

"Oh course! I will always come back! Always!"

She looked at me with brown eyes of deep sadness. I began to notice her pendant I have given her. It was a beautiful, golden heart-shaped necklace. I had told her it will always bring me back to her, because it symbolizes my deep love and compassion of her.

The moment was ready. She and I were close enough to kiss. I could already taste her lips...

Just when I was about taste the press of flesh, my lips met metal. I opened my eyes and saw a katana, gleaming in the light. Lexi had noticed it and I knew who it was immediately.

That dann bastard Lukas!!!

I gave my friend a look of deep anger. His emotionless stare upon me suddenly changed into a enjoyable smirk I so wanted to wipe off.

"Hello Eli... I apologize from my little 'Interruption' but Dear Lexi, I must talk to Eli at once. It is an important subject we must converse about."

"THAT DIDN'T MEAN YOU HAD TO INTERRUPT OUR KISS, LUKAS!!!"

Lexi began to laugh as I began to get onto Lukas but I guess Lukas wasn't one to make a fool out of himself. With the flick of the wrist and a snap of his fingers, he.... Turned into crows.
