Chapter Nine

Eli

When I came around to my awaking, I saw the horrors of the sky. And that's when I was had fully awaken up.

I groggily peeled open my eyes and began to pull myself up. My body was aching and my fingers were stinging, like my blood was fire in my skin. My head was screaming in pain, almost like a seizure, headache and fever all mixed in one. And my ears were ringing badly.

Gaaah!!! It hurts like hell!!!

I thrashed my head around and screamed in pain and agony. The pain was extremely excruciating. Then it became worse.

In between the piercing ring of my ears, a deep, raging, demonic voice spoke out of my physical hell.

<It hurts, doesn't it Eli?>

<What the->

I know this voice. I've heard it before. It's familiar, like I have heard of it so many times.

<W-who are y-you???!!!>

<Where are my manners? It's been awhile, hasn't it Eli? The last time I've seen you was when I was the brink of destroying your Earth. Remember Eli? I want to kill you so much. You remind me so much of those two insects...>

This voice is... It's so familiar. I know it! I've felt this before. I know it.

<You're Vargas!!!>

He snickered with a bloody agenda. Every time he laughed maniacally it made my blood run cold. He was the definition of fear. He was The Great Deity Of Destruction.

<I Sense Your Fear... Your Pain... Your Blood...>

No. I can't let it get to me. I gotta stay sane. He'll make me go nuts. He'll make me go crazy. He'll try to persuade me to commit suicide.

<GET OUT OF MY MIND, YOU DAMN ALIEN FREAK!!!>

<It Hurts Eli... It Hurts, It Hurts.. Doesn't it, Eli?>

I began to scream. The pain was just too much. I began to grip my head and rock myself. I'm going insane. With all this madness around me, I couldn't handle it. As I began to pound my head against the ground, it wasn't before long I slammed my head hard and I went out like a light.

"Eli... Wake up Dear."

I opened my eyes to see my family, including Lukas and Blue, surrounding me. I was on my bed and my head felt horrible. It felt like I had slammed my head against a rock.

I tried to pick myself up but my mom had me laid down. My forehead was straining In deep pain. I immediately tried PX Healing Beta, hoping it will heal my forehead completely or at least ease the pain. However, I couldn't feel any PX Energy in my hand. It wasn't rushing or surging in my hand at all.

<What the...>

<Lukas: I tried that too. It won't work.>

<Lukas?>

<Blue: Eli, I'm so sorry. I didn't->

<Lukas: Blue, It's not a good time for apologies right now at the moment. He needs to know what's been happening>

<Noah: Guys, can you please stop talking Telepathically. Mom, Dad and Isaiah are looking at you guys funny. And think Isaiah is getting irritated.>

I then noticed my older brother Noah in his chair. He had a serious grin as I took notice of my parents, who didnt understand what was going on.

"Sorry Mom. Sorry Dad. We were talking Telepathically!", I had told them with my common goofy grin.

As for Isaiah, he began to storm out of my room. I could tell he needed to blow off some steam. Right Right before he was about to exit the room, he exclaimed loudly for all to hear, "WELL, WHEN I GET MY PHYSIC POWERS, I PROMISE I WON'T BE ANNOYING!!!"

Then he slammed the door and my Dad decided to talk to him, leaving me, Mom, Dad, Noah and my friends. It then got quiet.

Ever since I got home, I wasn't the only one who had changed. My brother Noah became a scientist who studied a lot in the powers of PX. Some say he was like the modern day Stephen Hawking, due to his disability to walk because of his legs weren't strong and paralysed, even though Noah was super religious and didn't really like him that much. He, too, had shown signs of Physic Abilities and he had manifested his powers faster than a blink of an eye. However, he only had one good move- His Signature Move, PX Fuzzies. A move that showered upon warm feelings and pure bliss happiness.

As for my little brother Isaiah, well...

When Noah had shown signs of his amazing abilities, Isaiah believed he, too, will procure his own physic powers. He went crazy and began waiting for the day for him to awaken his abilities. However, one time, we were playing together and I had ruffled his hair. When I had touched his hair, I immediately felt something.

He has... No PX in him!

When I realized this, I decided to talk to Astro about it and he had told me about Genetics and Heredity. He had researched that 60% percent of the population on Earth was physic, even if they didn't realize this or not. As for the other 40% percent, it was divided into 2 categories- 30% Percent of the population could carry the Psionic Gene (or PX Gene) but cannot trigger it. As for the other 10% percent, you were rare; You don't have a drop of PX in your blood NOR did you carry the PX Gene in your DNA (Astro calls DNA "The Life Code").

Which meant Isaiah was a special case. He could be one of the 40% Percent. I'm still not sure.

Astro had explained to me that they did a recent study about the activation of Physic energy. They concluded that Human Ages 7-14 were the most likely age when PX starts to Manifest for humans. And since Isaiah was now 10 years old, It was confirmed that he was one of the 40% Percent people. As for which category, I am not sure; That would have to require genetic testing, which involves blood samples, hair extractions and toenail clippings from not only Isaiah himself but also Mom and Dad themselves.

Anyway, Blue began to apologize for what she had done and I had forgiven her. But she telepathically threaten us if we ever did anything perverted we will be turn into ashes. Me and Lukas both felt our spine tingle.

We gulped in fright and Mom had ask if we have done anything to the sky.

"Mom, why in the world would you ask us that?".

I noticed she was shaking and I began to sense something wrong. Lukas, Blue and I opened up my window and dropped out jaws.

The sky was puking; it wasn't clear, calm and blue. It was red, swirling with many colors- From lime green to neon orange to yellow to pink and many more.

I began to noticed the lighting was different. It was more heavy and much more dangerous. It was even more destructive and it shocked the Land and obliterated it.

Wait what?!

I then noticed the world around me and was decaying and falling apart. The ground began to rumble and the world began to collapse. Gas was filling the air and just as about Hell was about to break loose, Lukas suddenly grabbed us by the hair and screamed loudly, "BRACE YOURSELVES!!!!"

At that moment, I went out like a light bulb.
