Snow...

As I trudged through the soft blanklet of snow, the sharp blow of the icy, cold wind stung me. The frost wasn't in my favor. My eyes was stinging from the chilly wind.

My tuxedo wasn't helping me; along with my hat and my cape, they weren't helping defending from the frost. The blizzard wasn't even clearing up.

Damn it! I wish.... I could've listen to Astro..

I began to rub my palms together. Sparks of flame kindled into life as I tried to heat my hands. My body needs warmth. Badly.

Shit...

My vision was failing me! My eyes was drained from me, using their powers! I knew I shouldn't have pushed them to their limits!

My body was consumed with fatigue; my eyes were weary as with my body. My legs felt like jelly and this snow wasn't helping me. From the way my feet think, it seemed like a soft, cold pillow.

They say... Freezing temperatures can decrease brain activity... Shit....

My PX was running out. I would've made a cup of coffee but It didn't matter since it would take too long.

Gotta... Stay... Awake!

But it was too late.

I felt nothing as my ears gave up on me. Snow impacted my fall as closed my eyes. A spittle of blood leaked from my jaws. Everything went dark as I fell into a great sleep.

When I came conscientious again, I woke with a joke of seeing a hearth, full of fire.

What the...

I began to shake and get up as quickly as possible. Where was I? Was I... Dead?

I began to check myself out. I wasn't wearing my tux. I was wearing my regular clothing. My clothes was swapped with bandages and Long Johns pajamas.

They were corduroy red and were wooly. They were also warm, like they had come out of a clothes dryer machine.

I noticed a mirror out of a corner of my eye and began to expect myself. For one thing, my hair was trimmed and clean. My eyes were dormant. They were back to their regular blue.

I began to stretch my back but I suddenly winced in pain. As I decided to check out my wounds, I open up the buttons that exposed my torso. Just when I was about go check out the wound, I saw a girl in the mirror, wearing a smock and blushing deeply.

I jolted around and immediately hissed in pain. The girl, still blushing deeply, settled her plate of Chinese silverware and rushed towards me.

I tried to speak back but she shushed me, saying "Lay back down. You got yourself a nasty mark on your back."

Deciding to let her do her thing, she fixed myself a cup of tea and began to heal my back. She oped her purse and pulled out a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide and a fresh roll of bandages.

She began to work on my back and I couldn't help notice how Pretty she looked, despite how young she was for me.

"How long was I out?", I asked as she rubbed the antiseptic on me.
