CHAPTER 14 The Ride

    Life was not easy here, Alia thought that she'd find some peace with her family, but things did not work out well. It was the next day, the sun rose. Breakfast was done. Alia was sitting on the stairs, reading her novel, with her morning tea. She kept down the book and started to upload the wedding photos in social media, when she saw Zoya rushing towards her.

"Appi, did you see the date?" she asked as she sat besides Alia. "Yes, so what?" replied Alia in 'I don't care' tone. "No Appi, tomorrow..." said Zoya. "Tomorrow what Zoya! Stop irritating me" snapped Alia. Zoya took the mobile from her hand, opened the calendar and showed, "See the date and month" she said. "Oh... tomorrow is her birthday, damn! I forgot, thanks for reminding me" said Alia "So what's the plan, today we'll be leaving for Kroonwar." "But we need to plan something" said Zoya restlessly. "Okay, maybe Zayn bhai can help us" said Alia with a smirk and both the sisters rushed inside. This distraction made Alia forget all the drama that happened a day before.

"Zayn bhai..." said Alia, as she walked in the room beside kitchen and found a small gang there, who were chatting and laughing. She entered in with Zoya and snapped the door behind, with Zayn, Suhaana, Hishaam, Ahaan, Zeeshaan and Sharaya, locked inside along with them.

"Why did you lock the door Alia?" asked Hishaam and Zayn together. "Listen guys" began Alia "Tomorrow is mumma's birthday..." "Oh is it 15th tomorrow?" interrupted Zayn. Zoya continued "Yes bhai, and we need to plan something, please help us out?" "What can I do?" asked Zayn. "Not just you but all of us present here, we gotta do something" said Alia "I have a plan..." "But Alia" interrupted Ahaan "We'll be leaving for Kroonwar in the afternoon, after lunch." Zoya said "What if you people leave early, it's just 10 am now. If you leave within an hour, you can go and do the necessary preparations there. I and Hishaam bhai will come late, with everyone else, and we'll try to delay."

"Yess... that's sounds good" said Ahaan, "Yippee!" yelled Sharaya "Another party means more food on my way" Everyone began to laugh and said "NOT AGAIN SHARAYA" as the plan continued, Ahaan "So we have 3 bikes right now, rest of them have already decided to come by cars." Alia "Okay so for 6 of us, 3 bikes, that's done. Now let's distribute the remaining work. Bhai, bhabhi, you get the cake" Suhaana "Okay so in that case, I'll go and prepare lunch for you all as well" Sharaya smiled and said "Thank you bhabhi" Zayn "Okay so, Alia you go for snacks then, with Zeeshaan, and Sharaya, Ahaan get the decorating materials.

Zeeshaan gave a thumb up while Sharaya said "Oh no no! I should go for snacks, after all Alia won't be knowing the kind of snacks we get here.... I and Zee know... I know which food to buy, so..." "So Zeeshaan is going with Alia" finalized Zayn. Sharaya yelled "No bhai..." "Okay leave it, Alia, you come with me, let her go for snacks with Zee" said Ahaan. "Alright then" said Alia, without giving it a thought, after a minute she realized what exactly she had agreed for, 'A bike ride with Ahaan'.

Zoya interrupted her thoughts "Okay so it's all confirm now. Bhai bhabhi for the cake, Zee bhai and Sharaya baaji for snacks, Ahaan bhai and Alia baaji for the decorations while me and Hishaam bhai will take care of everything here. So 3 bikes and 6 people...." "...In one hour guys, hurry up, we'll take care here" added Hishaam.

In a hour, they all got themselves ready. Alia had packed all her cloths in her luggage bag, and kept it down with her parent's bags. Zayn and Ahaan came down to ask Nisha's permission, the most difficult part of the whole plan. She was in the living room, with Subhaan and Niyaaz, Other men of the house were off to the farm and ladies were chilling in Sumaira's room while Kinza, Naeema and Rahila were busy in the backyard.

"Why" was the first thing that Nisha asked, Ahaan fumbled "Ammm... mom, we..." just then Alia entered, "Because Alia wants to go on the bike" said Zayn all of a sudden. Alia was clueless "What!? Me!?...." she said as Ahaan played along with Zayn, he said "Alia, you wanted to travel to KROONWAR on the bike" he signaled Alia, "Oh yeah! Suhaana bhabhi was saying..." said Alia as she saw Suhaana entering. "Badi ammi, here's your tea" Nisha took the tea, and asked "Suhaana, were you the one who wants to go on the bike to Kroonwar before all of us? What work do you have dear?" Suhaana was confused but she soon understood the scenario after looking at Alia.
