My world took a beating from that day on,
When I was told I would have to try move on.
You weren't going to be there anymore,
Yet I had to try and remain strong.
Your infectious laugh would light up a room,
But now? It's gone! And there's nothing I can do!
I hear you every single day,
But now? All I can try to do is pray.
Ask you for "Guidance" or "Support" when all we want is you here with us.
I know that we can't all have what we want,
But I'm glad you finally had the chance to see,
All who is waiting up there for me!
