You departed this world on February First, And that pain I felt, It really was the worst.
The moment you took that final breath.. In a way I was relieved, you where finally at rest!
Im glad I got to say goodbye. That the world wasn't too cruel. You fought hard, and long enough. So you could hear all we had to say to you.
It broke my heart to leave that day, cause I knew things would never be the same. I had the chance to see you first.. My heart exploded.. you looked so good!
You'll never understand how much your missed. And all I wish is to give you one more kiss. We visit your resting place, But not your home. Cause when I walk through those doors I feel so alone.
I know this isn't "Goodbye" But that doesn't mean I do not cry. I'll see you again very soon,
But for now, I'm gonna live my life. Hoping you'll be by my side.
