Dear Grey,
Whatever happened to the world we dreamed about as kids? Whatever happened to that perfect place, that seemed real then, but now only exists in our imaginations?
I was walking down the halls the other day when I saw you. I saw you hurt. I saw you bruised. I saw you in ways I hadn't seen you before.
You fought, yet you failed.
You tried to conquer, yet once again you lost it all.
I just want to know who broke your heart in two? I just want why you no longer take risks, and what makes you put on that smile of a mask?
Today I saw you sitting in the hallways with your head down and that classic smile wiped clean from your face.
I approached you and you said it was nothing.
I tried to help you and you replied, "there's no point."
But there is a point. I love you Grey. And maybe someday you'll love me too.
