"Isn't it lovely?"Gabriel sighed and looked over at the limp body next to him. Why did he feel this way?
"Don't you understand what you're doing Gabriel!?"
Gabriel flinched at the memories and lowered himself to the ground. He didn't want to be like this. All it takes is one shot.
One shot and it can all be over.
"All alone, "
The painful sting on his hand now felt like it was burning. He wanted to cry. He truly did. But he didn't have the energy to care anymore.
He lifted the gun, aiming it at himself and then the body.
"Just do it, we all know you want to, "
He remembered how he ran into the room when he heard the gunshot. He remembered how he pleaded his lover not to do it. He remembered how the color drained from his face when he shot himself. Right in front of Gabriel.
"Heart made of glass, "
Life seemed to drain out of his lover's eyes when Gabriel ran to him. Everything seemed to slow down when it happened. He could remember the sound of his body hitting the floor.
Gabriel wanted to scream, he wanted to cry for help, he wanted to do something. But all he did was hold the gun in one hand and his lovers in the other.
"My mind of stone, "
Not everyone has a happy ending. He knows that. But he wished that he could see the light in his eyes again.
He remembered him taking his last breath. He could almost see it coming out of him.
Gabriel remembered all the times they were happy and smiles couldn't be taken off their faces.
He remembered all the times his lover helped him out of a panic attack and comforted him. He always loved those moments
He loved the moments where it was just the two of them hanging out and finding comfort in the silence.
"Tear me to pieces,
Skin and bone, "
Gabriel screamed and held his head trying to stay and not get lost in the memory of him. By now, Gabriel had dropped the gun and started crying. Maybe he was meant to be alone.
"Welcome home, "
He was being taken away from his body. He watched as they took his body for examination. He remembered him being comforted by his brother.
He remembered how painful it was to talk at the funeral. He just wanted to see him again.
He would go to the cemetery every night and talk to him.
"I miss you, Sam, "
