It's been a few weeks since I discovered my feelings for Chloe and they've only intensified since then. I'm so captivated by everything she does and I'm so more appreciative of everything she does as well. I mean, I was always appreciative but now it's different. It's like everything she does for me makes me more attracted and interested in her. She's just so caring and considerate and now, I actually feel a little embarrassed by not doing things. It's hard to explain but I don't want to tarnish the way she thinks about me, which is rich considering I'm pregnant with my ex's baby and she's helping me through it.

Right now, Chloe and I are out and about doing some grocery shopping. She's pushing the cart while I pick the things we need and cross them off the list.

"Oh! Bananas! Get some of them, Becs," Chloe tells me, pointing to the fruit.

"How many?"

"Do you want some?"

"Yeah, I'll have one tonight."

"Get four then - two each."

"Okay." I grab the fruit and put it in the cart.

"What else do we need?"

"Quite a few things," I say, looking at our list. "We'll just work our way through."

"Alright. How are you feeling?"

I laugh at her. That's probably been the tenth time she's asked me since we left the house half-an-hour ago.

"I'm fine, Chlo," I reassure her. "As I keep saying - just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean that I can't do things."

"Yeah, yeah, I know but you know what I'm like."

"Yes, I do."

"Did you want to lean on the cart?"

"I'm fine," I laugh.

"Alright."

Precious Chloe. She's so sweet and caring. How did I manage to land a friend like her? She's been so good to me and I can't help but feel a little guilty. I haven't been the best friend to her over the years but she's stuck by my side. I need to make it up to her somehow but how can I make up for what she's done for me already? Not to mention that I've still got quite a way to go until the baby gets here.

"Alright," Chloe sighs as we reach the candy and chocolate aisle. "So who's gonna get the guy with the forklift to pick all this up and drop it in our car?"

"Oh, come on, my chocolate craving isn't that bad," I tell her.

Chloe just looks at me blankly. "You're kidding, right? The other night I had to go out and get your favourite chocolate bar because you said, and I quote, that you would "wither away into nothingness if you didn't have it"."

I bit down on my smile. "It was good chocolate."

"No doubt." Chloe grabbed the cart and began pushing it down the aisle. "Do you want me to just hold my arm out and push everything into the cart?"

"Chloe!" I laugh, slapping her arm playfully.

"I know you, Beca Mitchell, and I know your cravings and when it comes to a pregnant woman's appetite, it's better to be safe than sorry. Can I get an Amen?"

"Oh my God..."

"Put what you want in the cart - I won't judge."

"Pfft, yeah right." I walk through the aisle with Chloe and pick out what I want and to my surprise, she doesn't make a comment or pull a face.

She usually does but I think she's gotten used to my weird food cravings that she's not phased by it anymore, that and the fact that I eat like a mad woman more often than not. Seriously, I almost cleaned out the entire pantry one day. I was just so freaking hungry it was crazy!
