STEVE AND NATASHA were covered in dirt and grime when they showed up in the front stoop of Sam Wilson's home. Sam Wilson was a tall strong man who had met Steve Rogers on a run a short while back. At this point, after nearly being blown up, they had no idea who they could trust. But, Steve knew Sam had been through many of the same horrific war time experiences he had, and knew he would be able to provide a safe space for the two of them.

To say Sam was shocked was an understatement. "I'm sorry about this. We need a place to lay low," Steve broke the silence.

"Everyone we know is trying to kill us." Sam looked at Natasha skeptically, but she's with Steve so what's the harm? "Not everyone."

The heat and pressure from the days events and impeding doom that would ingulf Washington D.C. was beginning to set off both Steve and Natasha. They were gathered in Sam's kitchen try to configure a strategic plan to take down HYDRA. The discussion was heated and frustrating, as it is a little difficult to take down a global organization with only two people. Sam Wilson, while he found their determination inspiring, knew they would need help.

He dropped a pile of government files in front of the two, prompting Steve's eyes to go wide and Natasha's the same, but with realization, "what is this?" he asked.

"Call it a resume."

Natasha was the first to speak, rather impressed, "Is this Bakhmala? The Khalid Khandil mission, that was you?" She then turned to Steve, "you didn't say he was a para-rescue."

They were highly impressed by his involvement in these high security missions.

"I heard they couldn't bring in the choppers because of the RPGs. What did you use, a stealth chute?" Natasha inquired.

Sam held a hopeful and proud look on his face as he placed the next file down, "no, these." Within this file was a a stealth suit made of robotic wings. The two Avengers had not seen a suit anything like that before, and they were surely intrigued with the mechanics behind it.

Steve broke the impressed silence, "I can't ask you to do this, Sam. You got out for a good reason."

Sam nearly choked on his laughter, "Dude, Captain America needs my help. There's no better reason to get back in."

With much consideration Natasha decided to speak up, "I do think I may have someone else who can help, but you'll just have to trust me on this one." She knew it would be difficult for them to blindly trust her, with everything that was happening with S.H.I.E.L.D, but this could be a game changer. All they could give her was a skeptical look.

"You won't be disappointment, trust me."
