If I could sum up this movie in one word it would be speechless. Although not very well known, it is arguably one of Nick Robinson's best roles.  Not only is it a movie that tells a story, it tells a story based on true events. What a way to make something even better huh! Plus, it should b noted for all those kids at heart that Devon Bostick , better known as "Rodrick Heffley", is also in the movie as well!

Publisher's Description: The drug-addicted son (Nick Robinson) of a California politician (Cary Elwes) finds romance with a fellow patient (Morgan Saylor) in rehab.

The movie opens up in a small country side, where Nick is celebrating his birthday...at a rehab center..next to a fucking church! It is very clear in his eyes that he doesn't want to be there and we learn that he is in fact getting out of the rehab. In true ass whole fashion, he bust the church window out before walking completely away.

Nick ends up catching a ride with a man, who he ends up stealing medications to pop from the man's sick mother. The good thing is, Devon "Rodrick" Bostick comes to the rescue and ends up dropping Nick off back at home, were he also doesn't want to be.

If you needed a photo of rich, stuck up, ass whole parents, Nick's would be the reference to use. His father is an arrogant politician who will stop at nothing to get reelected as Governor of California, even if that means sending his son off to clear up his "habits".

Nick seems to always be a mess up in his fathers eyes and is sent away one again, Except, this time it is different and he meets a girl who he begins to fall for. Suddenly the sober life is more appealing. For a short time.

Nick falls back into the deep end eventually, but when tragic strikes him, he known that there needs to be a change in his life.

Stand up. Comedy.

My Reason: I LOVE this movie! It was very well written and the story line did not seem like something that would never happen in real life. Also, they did not dramatize the risk of addiction and show the hard truth of where it can land you in life.

Should I see this movie: Absofreakinlutely! This movie is a must from Nick Robinson. It is raw, real, emotional, and all there is in between.
