"Alexis , take care of your mama for me."
I stood in front of my dad not knowing what he was saying or trying to tell me at only 6 years old. I looked back at my mama who was crying non-stop.
"Daddy where are you going"
"I have to take care of some business , remember what we talked about."
I nodded , and he held out his hand signaling for our hand shake , he hugged me then left.
I watched as he got in the back of a black Tahoe and whoever was driving drove off , and that was the last time I seen him 16 years ago , im now 22 , living on my own and I must say im pretty succesful thanks to him.
