"She asked how the baby was doing."

At iHop, we waited for our orders to be taken, and Gabbie looked around amazed with everything and everybody since she never really left the house. "So Alexis, what do you do?"

"Oh, nothing Im staying home with Gabbie."

"Thats a nice G Wagon y'all got."

"Thanks." Djuan spoke up.

"Jamal you know if King still got that spot downtown."

"He relocated in Buckhead, well its like around there."

"I'll look it up."

"You tryna make moves over there."

"Whats this place" I asked Neima.

"Girl, some club." She rolled her eyes.

I nodded, "You know what, thats a good idea, we can watch Sky and Skylar."

Daijon chocked on his orange juice and gave me look.

I laughed, but everybody else was lost.

"Aunt Lex, do you have games on your phone."

Sky gasped and whispered to her sister. "Aunt Lex got a ipad."

I looked through the baby bag and handed it to her and let her do whatever the hell she wanted to do with it.

"Aye Neima, you might just get some tonight." He laughed and she rolled her eyes.

Daijon laughed hysterically, and I eyed him down.

"Don't make me start on you."

"You know we be going for hours, having you-"

"Hush." I mushed his face, Gabbie started to whine, I looked over at her picking her up from her carseat.

"Sorry mama, we not paying attention to you."

"She look just like you man." Jamal pointed to the baby and Neima nodded in agreement.

"I know, alot of people tell me that, this lady at the doctors office she be flirting with Daijon, she always be like, oh my god, she so cute just like her dad, she look just like you, her nose.. I mean this lady be bout to make me go off."

"Yes I be mad." I rubbed Gabbie's hair and passed her to her dad, he put her across his shoulder and she kicked and did little things babies do.
