Quietly it all happens
Happens and passes away
That monstrous black shadow
Sneaks up behind your back
And growling it attacks
Like predator pounces on its prey
What harm can the body show
The soul is what it burns.
Quietly it all happens
Happens and passes away
Dignity is stripped away on the streets
Even the roads shiver in terror
The eyes shed no tears
It's blood they seem to weep.
Quietly it all happens
Happens and passes away
To those justice is delivered here
Who are willing to fight for it
And rot unhealed the wounds of those
Who choose to hide the wound away.
