Chapter Seven...

I turn and look at the elevator. It's telling me that's it's okay to leave, and if he really wants this relationship to work he'll fight for me. Then I turn back towards Four. The hurt and sadness in his eyes also call to me, telling me that he really wants to try again, telling me he's been hurt before. And with that, I walk back to the elevator and press the button. "Tris! Tris, please don't leave. Tris come on!" he shouts behind me. Feeling my eyes tear up I walk into the elevator and press the button for the first floor. As the doors close I look up and I am met with Fours gorgeous ocean blue eyes. But they aren't the same as before, they are dimmer and less blue. Sad.

My head is down as I walk back to my car. "Tris!" Four says behind me. Turning back around I see him standing outside the door about 20 feet from me. "Tris, please. You don't understand-" I stop him there. "No Four you don't understand. I want a real relationship, not something purely based on sex. I want to get married and have kids. You want sex. That's fine Four whatever you're into but not with me." I say and turn around walking back to my car. "Tris I'm sorry," he says. "Ya Four I'm sorry too." I turn and basically run back to my car.

In hysterical sobs, I get into my car and break down even more. I drive straight to my apartment. When I reach my floor I walk to Chris' apartment and walk in. "Christina, it's bad." I sob as I walk through the door. "Oh sweetie what happened?" She asks getting off the couch. "It went awful. First, he told me I only came back for sex then, he lied to me about why he and his ex broke up and I couldn't take it I walked out." I start to sob more. "Was he upset?" she asks as she moves me to the couch. "He kept yelling after me and telling me he really wants a relationship but I couldn't handle the lying," I say calming down a bit. Christina tells me she's going to make some tea and that's when I see it. "Christina why the hell did you not tell me about the ring?!!" I asked excitedly hoping to change the subject and get my mind off of the recent events. "Oh ya! Will proposed!" she mentioned. "And you didn't think to call me!" I say. "Well you and Four were trying to mend things so," she tells me. "Ugh, Chris you're more important than him. I'm so excited for you two." I squeal. I get up and hug her.

I say goodbye to Christina and go back to my apartment and get undressed. I decide to take a bath and relax.

Stepping out of the bath I grab my towel and dry off. I put on running shorts and a dark blue tank top. I grab a pair of black socks and walk out to my living room. I watch a few episodes of Arrow season 5 and walk back to my room and fall asleep.

what a short chapter sorry about this only 572 words today but I promise you this story will be taking a turn so buckle up ladies and enjoy the ride
