We can't stay here

     Ivy rose out of bed to the sound of voices sounding like an argument, yeah these ppl gave her shelter and protection but she felt in her bones that the only person she can trust was herself .  

        Yes ivy was little stubborn and selfish but she was only doing what she could to protect the little precious brook .

  Ivy walked to the living room to see Rosanna and dailia arguing with the two boys about safety while going out alone , meanwhile they were in the middle of going toe to toe with each other, the only one who notice brook was missing was of course ivy . 

   "  Where is my brother "  ivy yelled which caused the group to stop as they jumped up and ran around the little wood house searching and searching for little brook ,

they heard crying coming from the baby play room as they rushed to the door.  Ivy opened the door to see the little brook playing with toys and crying because his block unconnected to the other one .

"Jesus don't scare me like that " ivy said rushing to brooks side and picking him up as she turned around to the the group of four with a deadly glare.  

      " how could you let him go in a room by his self why didn't you call me when he woke up, he could've hurted himself. I don't know if you forgot , if you did let me remind you , he's a toddler he's 1 years old he can't do anything by himself so since there's more then enough ppl here , when I'm sleep I expect you to check up on him , because if he gets hurt under your care i promise you will regret it "

ivy said. Holding brook and walking to the living room.

Ivy sat on the old couch holding little brook as he laid down on her chest and fell asleep . 

"ivy I'm sorry , were sorry we left your brother unattended and we should have told you when he was awake and we sincerely apologize to you and brook " Jordan said sad looking .

Before ivy could accept his apology. Shots rung through everyone's ears and screams played out like a record player , the four ran to the safe room as ivy holded brook to her chest and ran to the safe room .

" we can't stay here " Rosanna said ducking just in case something happens , " we can't just run and not do anything " Marcus said coughing as the smoke was coming into the house .  

   " Marcus are you dumb ,we can't just go out and fight and we don't know what it is " dailia said coughing. The group of five run through The smoke into the woods as ivy is directing them the way to her house .

They finally get to Ivy's house and take all the supplies they have Out of the bag and sat it on the counter. " we have a lot of food mostly from stealing but whatever , alright let's eat peeps" Jordan says while winking at an disgusted ivy ,  

ivy ate her food and walked to her room with a now sleep brook and placed him in his crib that she placed by her bed just for safety purposes , ivy laid down on her bed staring at the picture of her mom , her and brook as everything flooded her mind .

  "Just leave , that what you do anyway huh you just leave when things get hard. )

"I have to do this alone ivy ,)

"How could you just leave me to fend for myself, fend for myself and brook " )

("I'm 15 I can't do this alone )

Ivy fell asleep still thinking about how much is gonna change and wondering if she's gonna see her mother again and quite frankly she wanted to forget her moms existence but she couldn't she didn't know why but she so wanted to ......
