Chapter 6: Reform?

They were roughly woken up, and forcefully dragged to the prison transport. They were cuffed, and thrown into the car. Then, we're on their way to court.

When they got to the courthouse, reporters and paparazzi were everywhere. Trying to get their pictures, and a stupid ass story.

Reyna was being helped by Barbra, since she couldn't walk. This fact however, was looked over by all the reporters, all but one.

Clark Kent.

When Clark saw the four teens get out of the van, he felt his rage boil. These were just innocent girls, well, Jr wasn't innocent but he still was a kid. He noticed how Reyna couldn't even walk, Barbra was helping her.

"Lowis, this isn't right." He told her, and she sighed.

"Well Smallvile, this is Gotham." She said sadly, and Clark used his special sight to see what injuries the girls had. It was bad, and he was livid.

They all went into the court room, and the teens were at a table with two cops on either side of it.

"This is the reopened case of the conviction of Reyna Joan Grayson-Wayne, Artemis Lian Croc, Barbra Mary Gordon, and Icicle Jr. please be seated." Some person said, and they all sat down. The DA got up, and took the stage.

"Your honor, these three girls were found guilty of attempted murder of Janet and Michal Chase. With their unidentified partner still at large, now, you can imagine my shock to learn that they were in contact with Icicle Jr." He said, and the court room broke out into whispers.

"I'm aware of the case evidence Hollow, but what does this have to do with the sentencing?" The juror asked, and the man smiled.

"Glad you asked that, with this new revelation, that these three girls worked with known villain Icicle Jr, I put forward the notion that these four criminals be sentenced to death." He Said, and everyone gasped. Jr, he felt numb. He really was going to die, his father lied to him.

"The death sentence is a very serious thing, you can't just go around and state that any criminal be put to death." The judge said, and the DA smirked.

"Oh, but these three girls are no ordinary criminals. Artemis Croc is the daughter of Paula Croc, the ex con known as Huntress. Her father, is Sportsmaster. A known hired arms, who still is at large. Her sister, Jade Croc is Cheshire. A known Assassin for higher, Who is still at large.

Reyna Grayson-Wayne is a Romani citizen, who was apart of the circus that was part of that international crime spree in December. Her acrobatic skills are infamous, and she is also known for ditching events." The DA Said, and Artemis was enraged.

"This might be true, but this isn't solid evidence. You're giving me nothing to otherwise convict these four juveniles of any other hanes affairs." The judge said, then he looked to them.

"Now, who would be representing you four?" He Asked, and Barbra stood up.

"I can." She Said, and the judge shrugged. Then motioned for her to proceed. Barbra took a breath before she started.

"These last three months have been nothing but a load of Bullshit. And please, pardon my language." She Said with an innocent smile, before she looked at the judge.

"My best friend Reyna has already lost her birth family, and yet, you take her away from her adoptive one. Even when her adoptive father was proven innocent, you kept her with the family of monsters." Barbra said, and everyone looked at her in confusion.

"What do you mean? My clients are the victims here." The DA said, and Barbra glared at him.

"Oh really? Were they beaten to death? Were they beaten and starved for amusement? Because I know sure as hell Reyna was." Barbra said, and all eyes turned to the young girl.
