What the? I'm a CAPTAIN?!

Me and my crew stepped into a Tailor's shop, to buy clothing. I was shell shocked! Me? A CAPTAIN?!
Egg shen stepped in and asked the man if they had and Kung Fu Gi's. Egg Shen stepped out in a black yellow Gi with a straw hat and new wooden plank shoes. He handed Ratbeard a brown coat, black pants, and a white shirt, with a brown leather boot. He handed me a long captains coat, and a tricorne, with leather boots. "Get dressed." Shen ordered. We obeyed. "Alright, what now, Shen?" I asked. "Blacksmith." Shen answered. We strode over to the store and this time ~RATBEARD'S POV~Ratbeard went inside.
The place was a dust, of spiders and beetles. I looked at the man. "Whatcha want Rat?!" He said quietly, scared. "I need a spear, and a Gladiator Cutlass. "Got'em in stock." He lifted up a spear, wooden plank undernearth the stone as a blade,and a gladiator cutlass. I hastily grabbed them both and slammed 2 gold coins on the table, making it crack down the middle. "That should do it, old freak." I smiled my rat smile and strode out. "What happened Ratbeard? Did you fight?" Sam asked in a haste. "Nar. The man was a crackpot." Ratbeard smirked. "Well, lets go, why don't we?" Ratbeard was still smirking.
~SAM POV~
In Avery's Court was a large fountain, two bed and breakfast inn's on either side, and houses surrond with two staircases, and a hatch up there, with a dock and a mansion, and a platform with a bridge.
I was awed. It was beautiful.  I walked up to the fountain. I poked the water. Ratbeard snickered. "Don't ya know what tis is? It's a life fountain Cp'tain." Ratbeard snickered again. "Oh.." I said, and jerked my hand away from the fountain. We resumed walking around, poking in and out of things, when a sign caught my eye. It didn't have any words. Just a sailing wheel and a seascope. I looked around and realized other signs with diffirent emblems.  I walked Inside and....
