Addison's POV:

Almost TWO years. I gave this boy almost TWO years of my life! And what does he do cheats on me with Miss Wheeler! And she has a HUSBAND! Oh I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Addison what's up. Just got out of a shitty relationship with Billy. I walked to the gas station alone covered in bruises from billy I noticed Steve was getting gas he saw me and called me over.

Steve: "Addison right?"

Me: "That's my name."

Steve: "You alright? Did billy do this?"

Me: "Yeah. Just dumped that piece of shit he cheated on me with miss wheeler... I've been with him for almost two years. Anyways you're Steve? Max's friend?"

Steve: "Yeah."

Me: "Cool I'm buying a bag of ice and I'll go stay at a motel my mom will flip out if I come home looking like this."

Steve: "How about I buy you that bag of ice and you can crash at my apartment?"

Me: "Fine by me. At least I won't get bed bugs."

Steve: "Trust me bed bugs are the least of your worries in Hawkins."

Steve bought me a bag of ice and we headed to his apartment. It wasn't messy at all like I excepted it was nice. I noticed a picture of him and Dustin in a frame.

Me: "That's Dustin right? He's also Max's friend."

Steve: "Yeah that's Dustin."

Me: "One of her friends has powers."

Steve: "What? No...."

Me: "It's that girl Jane. Billy was getting cigarettes so I stayed at the house and Jane and Max were in the living room and the channels on the tv were changing on their own.... I know Max dosen't have powers because she would've told me she tells me everything.... or at least I thought...."

Steve: "Yeah Jane has powers but you can't tell anyone."

Me: "I have no one to tell I have no friends billy wouldn't let me make them and now it's too late just graduated this year."

Steve: "Oh congratulations."

Me: "Thanks."

Steve: "All my friends are kids."

Me: "We can be friends unless you have some over protective girlfriend."

Steve: "No girlfriend for me. I was going to date my coworker robin but uh she moved...."

Me: "Oh where to?"

Steve: "Far far away...."

Me: "Alrighty then...."

Steve: "Anyways you should get some rest. Are you sure you're ok?"

Me: "I'll be fine.... this isn't the first time."

Steve: "You can take my bed I'll take the couch."

Me: "Are you sure?"

Steve: "Yeah."

Me: "No no no. I'll take the couch and you can have your bed."

Steve: "Yeah that's a no."

Me: "Fine I'll take your bed."

•••A few hours later•••

I couldn't sleep so I went to the living room to see Steve asleep on the couch. I had to admit he was pretty cute. I went on the floor next to the couch and fell asleep.

•••Morning•••

Steve: "What the hell are you doing on the floor?"

Me: "Couldn't sleep."

Steve: "So you sleep on the floor?"

Me: "Yeah."

Steve: "Ok then... do you want me to take you home?"

Me: "You can drop me off at the mall I have to go buy makeup to cover these bruises."

Steve: "I'll accompany you."

Me: "You sure you don't have to babysit?"

Steve: "Oh hush."
