Addison was a regular girl from California she was dating Billy long distance. When she moved to Hawkins she figured the two of them would work out but she was wrong.
It was the next day we drove down to my dads house. I missed this place it was so huge and it had a nice pool. Forgot to mention my dads like a millionaire. Anyways we get out of the car and head inside.
Dad: "Cupcake!"
Me: "Daddy!"
Steve: "I'm right her-"
I nudge Steve to be quiet.
Me: "He's joking."
Dad: "The names John. John Anderson."
Steve: "So you're Addison Anderson."
Dustin: "If your middle name starts with a A your intials would be AAA!"
Mike: "What is your middle name?"
Me: "I don't want to say it."
Steve: "How bad can it be princess?"
Dad: "It's Amelia."
Dustin: "This is so great I cannot wait to tell the group when I get back."
Me: "This is why I haven't told anyone my middle name or last name. Only billy and max knew and they're great at keeping secrets."
Steve: "I won't tell anyone babe. Anyways I know you just reunited with your dad and all but can I have a minute with him?"
Me: "Yeah sure. Dad go easy on him he's been so nervous to meet you."
Dad: "I will honey don't you worry."
Steve's POV:
John: "Before we talk I just have to ask.... do you hit her?"
Me: "I'd never hurt Addison sir. She's the love of my life."
John: "Great. So what do you wanna talk to me about?"
Me: "Well sir you see I've been with your daughter for almost a year now. And let me tell you she's the most funny, most caring, most kind hearted, most beautiful, most talented person I know. And trust me I know everyone in Hawkins it's a small town. Anyways I asked her mom back at home but I was wondering if I maybe had permission to marry your dau-"
John: "Welcone to the family."
Me: "Thank you sir. I don't know I want to purpose to her because I have the boys here..."
John: "Don't you worry about it. I'll take the boys inside my house and you just go purpose to Addy over there see all the flowers it's perfect."
Me: "Thank you."
I walked back to Addy and took her hand.
Addison: "Where are we going Harrington?"
Me: "Just stealing you away for a second."
Addison: "This is where I used to come when I was sad."
Me: "You sad now?"
Addison: "No because I'm with you idiot."
Me: "That's good."
I get down on one knee and pull out a ring.
Me: "You know I was going to do this at the gas station back home. Because that's officially where we first met I saw you around but I was scared to talk to you since you were with billy."
Addison: "Steve what are you doing?"
Me: "Addison Amelia Anderson. I'm madly in love with you. You're all I think about. And when we took a break I was heartbroken I know I'm not the best boyfriend ever but I sure do try to be and again I'm sorry for the fights we had but I'm glad we're stronger than ever now. So Addison will you marry me?"
Addison: "Is this a prank?"
Me: "No pranks."
Addison: "Of course I'll marry you Steve Harrington. If you asked me at the gas station I would've said yes. Hell if you asked me in the motel last night I would've said yes."
Me: "That's a relief."

I put the ring on Addison and picked her up and kissed her. We headed back to her dads house and stayed there for awhile. We then got in the car and drove home.
•••A few hours later••• Addison's POV:
Me: "I'll walk you to the door mike."
Mike: "You're going to leave now...."
Me: "Mike what do you mean?"
Mike: "Now that you and Steve are engaged you're going to leave."
Me: "That's not true... mike I like Hawkins Yeah sure I miss my dad but that dosen't mean I'm going back to California I may visit him sure. But Hawkins is my home now bud I'm not going anywhere."
Mike: "Do you promise?"
Me: "I promise."
Mike went inside and we took Dustin home and then headed back to our apartment.
Me: "So Dustin was trying to tell me you were purposing which is probably why you went and got purple flowers so mike could use that to distract me?"
