When you got no best friend

So it is National BFF day! Do I have one? HAHAHA! THIS BITCH IS FUCKING ALONE! I always see my friends hanging out with one another, posting about one another, but I guess no one sees me as their best friend. That's ok. I'm annoying anyway. I manage my time by babysitting my brothers, reading, rewatching Good Omens (highly reccomend) and role playing with my internet best friend. It's fucking difficult to look at Instagram and see people post pictures with their friends, seeing my friends with my other friends, seeing my old best friend as a completely different person and with new best friends, and just seeing people be happy. What did I do on National bff day? I had an amazing time spending the day with my grandparents seeing an amazing play and having dinner. That beats friends in my opinion. I also got the Good Omens book so I can read about the best best friends as we as watch them!

I spend a lot of time alone; watching YouTube, scrolling through Instagram and Twitter, watching movies, reading, doing make up and drawing, but am I lonely? Yes. Am I scared to ask people to hang out because I'm scared of rejection? Yes. Did I have a bad experience with asking people to hang out that caused this? YES! I also deal with being called "Karen" because I have really short hair. I get called annoying and useless. And everyone says that they don't care. I thought I was supposed to meet my best friends in high school...supposed to meet my theatre family...I have theatre, but I don't think they care about me as much.

I think that's enough for today's chapter of "Kaitlyn's life is falling the fuck apart", like anyone cares.
