Uh... Light

Lights POV

I kissed him again  but he didn't kiss back so I stopped and pulled away. " Wh-Why did you stop?" he asks with a frown on his face. " I thought you didn't like it so I stopped. " N-No I did I just needed t-to get used to it.." I smirk at him. "Well I think its time we go to bed eh?" he nods and we head up to my room to change. He turns around and waits for me to change and I do the same for him, we climb into bed and slide under covers. We laid relatively close to each other and just barley touching. But we were close enough that I felt Ryuzaki shiver.

L's POV

Light's room was so cold. I shivered then felt a warm arm wrap around my body and pull me close. Was light spooning me? I relaxed a bit and turned over so I was facing him, "Thanks" I say as I bury my face in his chest. "I-is this ok?" I ask lifting my head up a little. He smiles down at me and says "Yes of course" he rested his chin gently on my head. I felt safe, I haven't felt safe in years. I never want this night to end. "Ryuzaki?"  I look up at him "Yes, Light?" he takes a deep breath, "I like you.... a lot." I smile and hug him closer if thats even possible, "I like you a lot too" He kisses my forehead and I blush, I lean up to his face and kiss him passionately, he grabs the back of my neck deepening the kiss. We'd pull away occasionally to breath but then automatically reconnect our lips. Every time I'm around light I get a weird feeling in my stomach, I used to think it was fear but maybe its... love? I don't think I've felt this way before.

   We eventually break the kiss and curl up and eventually I fell asleep in Light's arms. Hearing his slow and steady heartbeat, feeling his calm warm breath against my neck, knowing this is real and not dream. It was all too perfect.

~Next Morning~

Light's POV

   I wake up around 7 to find a sleeping Ryuzaki cuddled up in my arms. I want to eat but I don't want to wake him up so I'll just lay here for a little longer. I just lay there with my arms wrapped around him staring at his face. Is that creepy? No? Maybe? Probably.

   After a half an hour Ryuzaki shuffles around, his eyes flutter open and immediately land on me. "Good morning, Light" he says still half asleep. "Morning love." His eyes bolt open and his face turns to a deep shade of red. I giggle a little.

"Whats wrong?" he asked.

"Nothing."

"Then what are you laughing at?"

"You."

"What did I do?"

"You were being cute"

"O-Oh."

"Wanna get breakfast?" he nods and we head downstairs to the kitchen when we are greeted by my mom "Oh hey boys, you're finally awake. There is some food on the counter." We take our seats at the dining table and eat the food my mom had prepared for us. "Thank you Mrs. Yagami," Ryuzaki thanks her for the food. "No problem dear."After breakfast we wnt upstairs and got changed, We then arrived at the Task Force HQ. Me and Ryuzki planned to keep whatever between us, seperate from work. It was a seemingly normal day at the office.

_After everyone went home_

L's POV

I was gathring my things when I felt two warm hands around my waist "What do you want to ea-" I was interrupted when Light crashed his
lips into mine. He turned me around and I snaked my arms around his neck.I tried speaking but he wouldn't let me, so I kissed back. We finally broke the kiss to breath. "I love you Ryuzaki" those words rolled of his tongue like they were meant to be said. But, I could never shake the idea of Misa or what others would think if they knew. I just smiled and continued to look in the fridge for food. I made pork cutlet bowls for us and we ate in comfortable silence. When we finished, Light insisted he clean up.

I was laying on the couch when Light got out of the shower. His hair was still wet and all he had was a towel... my face went beet red. I covered my hands with my face "L-light you should get dressed" he looked down "Right" he turned and headed towards his bedroom. I followed after he gave me the signal that he was decent. I was just about to reconnect the hand cuffs when I was pushed down onto the bed. "Li-light?" He pinned me down holding my hands above my head.

-Light's POV-
I started into his gray sparkling eyes. He was obviously flustered which I thought was adorable. I wanted more. "No one's home, that means I have you all to myself" He gasped quietly "uh-err" I slowly lean down and connect our lips, I lick his bottom lip asking for an entrance which he gives me. My tongue explores his mouth till I'm out of breath and pull away. Only to reconnect our lips once more. I then felt a sudden spike of pain on my bottom lip, I jerked away. "Ow!" I touched my lip. "Oh Light I didn't mean t-" I smirk at him "it's fine" he is so pure and innocent, But why dose he have to be so damn cute. "I-I just... Misa? What about Misa?" I completely forgot about what we would do about Misa.. I mean Rem did tell me he'd kill me after all. I was stolen from my thoughts when I heard the door bell ring.
